I bought the large red, and my dog loves it! She loves laying on it in the yard and just watching the birds and sniffing the air. It's also light and easy to move and put together but sturdy at the same time. We plan on bringing it for camping and cookouts and such at parks, and I think it's gonna hold up well.
This is my second K&H pet bed. My dog is a fan, and so am I. I did buy another type and realized it took up an extra 1' of room with the arched legs. Tripping hazard and a waste of space. So I bought this to replace it. My dog is already lying on it, chewing his bone. I will say it was shipped in its box and could have used some tape to secure it closed. I was shocked nothing was missing.
Can't speak to longevity because I've only had it for about 2 weeks, but was easy to put together and fits my two large (57ish) pound dogs and even the 7 pound cat has availed himself of it. The green is beautiful. It's light enough to move around to different areas of my deck/yard.
I have tried a million dog beds for my 12 year old lab German shepherd. She has trouble getting up and down sometimes and I can tell it takes a while for her to get comfy, has to use steps to get in the bed etc. She sleeps so soundly in this bed she wont even open her eyes when I get up and walk to another room. Normally shes right on my heels. She even growled at her sister when she tried to hop up on it. She has never guarded her beds or toys. We got the large and she is around 65 lbs. it is perfect. It took me 2 minutes to put together. If you are thinking about ordering it just do it! I ordered another one for her to use outside.
My Newfoundlands like to sleep on the porch on 2 raised beds. The beds keep breaking so I bought this bed that holds 300 pounds. This bed is a bit smaller than the others but they still fit. The bed went together very quickly and easily. I was impressed. The bed is very solid and lightweight. The bed must smell like something. As soon as I left my big boy outside alone with the bed he chewed the corner piece. He is not a chewer. I will probably buy another asI have 3 Newfoundlands
Well I’d like to say this was the best bed ever, but unfortunately I can’t. It lasted for about 2 weeks. The fabric isn’t as durable as they claim. And it’s certainly NOT chew proof. This purchase is so disappointing and a complete waste of money. See images.
Really nice and very sturdy. We have 2 dogs and they are still getting used to using their cots. Our one dog treats it like a trampoline! He gets his big outside ball and bounces it around on the cot. But they do like being up off the floor and we will be using them outside as the weather gets warmer.
So far my Mia (a 50lb Bulldog) is LOVING this bed! I got it for her to use outdoors so she doesn’t have to lay on the ground or grass (she still will until I coax her onto the bed. It’s sturdy, made well and easy to put together!!!
My dogs exit onto a deck and then down to the lawn. Even though they are gorgeous Black Labrador Retrievers, they don't like laying on the wet or ground when they just want to hang outside. they absolutely LOVE their cots. Cool in the summer, I can dump the snow in the winter, and they dry quickly. They each have their own but they have know preference. Some days they love to snuggle on just one! It's a great bonus that you can replace just the mat if needed, though I've found them to be so strong. I have severe arthritis in my hands and having 3/4 of my back fused shortly. It was still a piece of cake to put together. Don't even need the directions. You can't go wrong buying this in its many designs and colors.
Very poorly made, plastic piece broke after dog laid on it. Netting was torn within minutes of my dog's being on it. I bought the giant beds I have 2 German Shepard's one is 100lbs and the other is 75lbs. Not impressed by the quality and will never order them again.
