A small packet of catnip is included if your kitty needs a little encouragement to get playtime started.

  • just okay for what it is

This cat scratcher wasn't as useful as I had hoped, and is pricey for how it turned out to work. When putting it in the taller "A" shaped position, it moves when the cats try to scratch since it's lightweight and the shape means the cats can't stand on it while they scratch. (Even putting it against a wall, the cats seem bothered by any movement and won't use it.) Since that's the position I bought it for, that was a disappointment. If I flip it so that the slope is shallow, it works fine and the cats like it, but at that point it's no more useful than a regular sloped cardboard cat scratcher and is more expensive (and can't be refilled either).

  • Hoped they would like it

My cats love the scratching boards, their favor is an A-frame board. Pet smart sold them then they stopped, this was the closest I could find, broke it in half so the could us it, however they just don’t like it. It falls over while they are scratching and it is to tightly packed for them to get their nails into. They do enjoy sleeping on it. I’m going to try another type.

  • Sturdy and my cats love it

I really like that this scratcher can be made into a triangle and into a wedge. My cats use it all the time, and they dont get bored because I switch is between the wedge and the triangle. My cats never really liked the scratchers that lay flat on the floor, so the upright feature is nice!

  • Happy Climbing Kittens <3

I love these card board scratchers. This was purchased for kitten fosters to put in their playpen. It is a great introduction to climbing and they All piled into the little triangle for sleep. I always choose cardboard for new kittens because I will hand sick ones and if need to be destroyed for contamination, it will breakdown in a landfill.

  • The cats approve

Ever since this appeared in the house, it has been in use in one way or another: one cat likes to knock it over so the cross-beam of the A is vertical. He then lounges on the short leg, one elbow perched on the cardboard, the rest of himself puddled on the carpet. Another likes to attack the long ramp, standing with his back feet just on the bottom of the ramp and his front claws wrapped around the top edge of the ramp. I've hidden treats in the triangle, which has led to a daily kitty check of that area, just to make sure they haven't missed any treats. They liked the wide ramp in the low position, so I left it that way. Overall, the cats like this. It's a good, tight cardboard scratcher. I'll likely buy this again when the current one wears out. … more

  • My cat is obsessed!

    By on

Cats are so weird. I have 2 cats. One cat totally ignores this and the other is OBSESSED! She even naps on it. I am so relieved as she has lost interest in scratching my couch once I purchased this! The only con is that is does seem pricey for just being cardboard. I will continue to buy it though.

  • Light weight moves

Light weight, moves when cats scratch, needs to be heavier, also pretty small. Might be good for kittens
