Perfect pod for my alien babies
My Bambino Sphynx get cold and even though they're small they somehow take up the whole bed when they sleep with us. They love the new pod and I love the extra bed space, even though I still have to share with my partner and 2 dogs! I put a small fleece blanket inside so that when it turns on it starts warming up where the blanket is before they get inside. They were reluctant at first since it doesn't feel warm on the surface until something is on it
Weird chemical smell
So the cat likes it but I just smelled it and the inside has this really strong weird chemical smell. I don't know if it's because of the heating pad or the factory it was made at. I tried spray, putting dryer sheets in there but it won't come out.
Heating Pod #2
This is the second pod I have purchased. The first one was for my 17yr old calico because she is getting older. But my 14yr old tux boy has recently showed interest in hers, so I bought the 2nd one. Now the only problem I have with them is, I can't keep my old lady cat out her brothers pod. She doesn't want him to have one. Oh cat parent issues hsha
Cats love them
I bought 2 of these for my Sphynx cats. They love them. When the heating pads aren't being used they drop to 15 degrees above room temp. It may seem like they don't work. They do. When the cat lays on them, the pads rise to 102 degrees, which is the cats normal temp. The pods and pads work wonderfully. Getting 2 more.
Not warm, and cat won't use it.
I was excited it arrived, and had it plugged in. Couldn't feel any warmth. Cat won't use it, and it's been over a week. Cat prefers big fluffy pilow, or folded sleeping bag, or his window pillow, or my chair.

My cats love this heated cat bed I have two now and the nap in them all the time. Just the right amount of heat for them
We have four and the cats like them
Three pods are unheated and the most recent one is heated. We haven't left it plugged in yet because the weather has been warm but confirmed that it heated up when we got it. We notice that they like them in changing locations. If we see one not getting much traffic we try moving it in that room to another location. Sometimes the moment one cat leaves a pod, the next cat gets up from where it is resting and jumps in. It's sturdy enough that you can pick it up with a cat in it and move it about. We have brought unsuspecting cats into our living room that way only for them to discover the mobile vet is here that day. As soon as the vet finishes, the cat jumps back into the pod to hide. Then we return them to where we found them. I like that it unzips for cleaning. We have several long haired cats and have removed the resulting "felt" but haven't had to clean anything wet off it yet. It's also sturdy enough for parkouring cats to launch off of as they careen about a room while at play.
nice looking but cats won't use it
It's quite nice looking but none of my 3 cats would get into it and for a long time they wouldn't even use the heating pad on its own, though they have finally gotten over that. So not a total loss.
didn’t work
Sadly my pod didn’t seem to work. I followed the instructions but it never got hot or even warm. And once I took it apart I realized it was just a heating pad in a cheaply made pod like you could make this at home for a third of the price so yeah I’m really disappointed by the defective product however chewy refunded me so that’s why I rated it good.
Nope - but it's cute!
Bought this and the flat bed for my girls with specific intentions of which would like which heated bed. Neither of them care for this one, even with good nip added to tempt them. It is really cute and does take up a good chunk of space, with a shorter power cord that expected, but man I wish they'd use it!
