Has this carrier been crash tested?

This product has not been tested by a government agency. It is intended to keep both the driver and the pet safe from the distraction of the pet being loose while you are driving. The product includes straps that secure the carrier to the headrest as well as the seat belt. In the event of an accident the carrier will help restrain your pet from flying freely throughout the car.
Can the small sized carrier fit be used on the front passenger seat of the car, or do all of them have to be in the back seat?

The carrier can be installed to either the front or back seats.
Is the carrier held rigid by something like wire in the edge seams? Or will it collapse flat when not strapped into the car?

The edges and sides of the carrier are supported by wiring material. This product is meant to be collapsible when folding it up, but when strapped in the car, it includes straps that secure the carrier to the headrest as well as the seat belt to keep it upright.
Will the medium size carrier fit on a bucket seat in my SUV?

Made car rides less stressful

I moved five hours away from my parents and knew I’d have to bring my kitties home with me for all the holidays. My cats have never done well in the car and getting them into their cat carriers is almost always a thing of nightmares. I wanted them to be comfortable on such a long car journey and this was the perfect solution! It fits in my front seat and the mesh is strong enough that I don’t need to worry about them ripping it with their claws. I like that I can buckle it in and it has a strap that goes around the headrest as well. It’s sturdy and both of my cats fit comfortably in it (they even willingly got into it last time I went home).

it was good while it lasted

lasted my pup a couple of months - my dog is very scared of car rides and just makes himself into a small ball when traveling - this helped give him a sense of safety and place and helped keep our cars clean I transport rescues sometimes and unfortunately a husky puppy manged to break the zipper to get out while i was driving - just wish it was a little bit more sturdy especially for the price - great concept for safety and comfort though

Best Money Spent

I had the open car seat and my Pom would not stay in it. I researched this item and the more expensive one, due to funds I chose this one and I am really happy with it. I know Pate is secure and will not injure herself by jumping or falling out. I put her toys and a small blanket. I can over it with a blanket in the winter. I am now placing in the backseat due to the airbags in the front.

Safe & Secure

Typically my dog shivers and whines during car rides using the standard tether. However, we took a 4 hour drive the first time we used this pet carrier and my little girl loved it! Within 5 minutes of leaving our house she was curled up in a ball and fast asleep. Did not hear a single peep out of her the whole time we were on the road.

Get this pet carrier

Borrowed exact carrier from friend . Now purchased one for myself . Totally different experience with dog ride alongs - no more panting , whining and dangerous distraction .

Cat car carrier

Bought this for a 11 hour drive, have not used it as of yet. We did set it up so my cat would adjust..........she's used it since the day we set it up! Hope we are as lucky for this drive.

From NC to OK, great!

I got two of these to move my cats from North Carolina to Oklahoma. It took us four days of driving (4 - 5 hours per day). They are big -- two took up the back seat. They were Awesome! The cats could stand up, move. They could see each other, and I could glance back and see them. They are bulky to try and pick up and move, but they were invaluable. Had them lying around before we left with the sides and front zipped down so they could explore. Per advice occasionally put a couple of treats in them. I added a cat bed to each -- just a small flat one but one a little thicker than the bottom of these carriers. I highly recommend these for long-distance travel. My cats had never gone far in the car, and they handled the trip amazingly well with no meds or supplements.
