Plastic joint breaks.
This product is designed to be held together by a plastic joint which easily breaks should your cat jump onto the perch. Mine did, thankfully rest of the structure is sturdy enough that it didn't immediately drop my cat. Wouldn't recommend.
Best purchase ever!
If you are second guessing getting this, don’t! My two 12 week old brothers love it! Marmalade (orange) and Earl Grey (gray) have been loving it so far!
My Cats Will Not Use It!
I purchased this double perch because the previous single perch kept loosing the suction, which caused the perch to fall when one of the cats tried to lay on it. Granted, the first one was older and the suction cups probably needed to be replaced. Instead of trying to get just the screw-type suction cups for the older unit, I decided to buy this one. MY CATS WILL NOT USE IT! I have even tried to put them on it and they immediately jump off. I can't say it's the fault of the new perch, though. I believe it's because the older one threw them to the floor a couple of times, they are scared to trust this one. Sorry, but it was a waste of money for me.

It's a little tough getting the bars inserted, takes a little muscle! Do not soak your windows when applying suction cups. Wet lightly back of suction cups. This is a very sturdy double window perch! K&H makes excellent products!!

My cat is so much happier ever since we set up the window lounger! She feels so special! She naps, grooms and watches the birds from both levels.Wish I got it 7 yrs ago!

I did some research before getting this one. We have the deluxe k&h cat perch. And I trust the brand bc it is sturdy. I chose this own bc I wanted both of my cats to be able to be on it at the same time. I liked this one bc it has wire strings. The other double k&h perch has Velcro strings and I noticed a lot of ppl said it broke. I have never had trouble with wire. So I chose this. I also got a mini cat tree to go on the side bc they were having trouble jumping on the perch with the curtains closed. Ever since we got the cat tree they have been obsessed with the perch bc they can finally climb on. I would highly recommend!!

decently made for the price
I almost always buy things for my dogs, so I figured it was time for my cats to get something cool, even though they honestly just want boxes and shoe laces. It’s very well made for the price though building it can be tricky if you have curious critters trying to “help”. The directions could be clearer. But it’s pretty easy to figure out without them. It hold both my cats up at once so a all together weight of 25lbs. And it’s so far help you to my youngest flinging herself onto it from across the living room so just for that it gets five stars. All and all it’s really cool. And I like how I can leave the frame up to wash the covers.
