Exactly what I wanted
I needed a gate between my living room and the entrance to my son's upstairs apartment. There's a door there and I didn't like the feeling of closing it off. This gate is perfect. It was easy to install, if you read the instructions. The gate doesn't seem to close at first and as you adjust the pressure points, it closes beautifully! It's high enough to keep my puppy from jumping over it and accessible enough that everyone can say hello. It also gives her time to calm down a bit so she doesn't jump as much. I'm delighted I picked this one!
Strong gate
We have two high energy labs and have just added a cat in the mix. They have jumped on the gate and it didn’t even budge. Also love how tall it is and how the gate is almost as wide as the door frame.
Extra tall dog gate
Having a border collie/blue heeler pup, I know in time she will be able to jump over a shorter gate. I feel this gate will be tall enough to keep her where I need her. Very easy to install.
Solid, Attractive Gate
I looked for a pressure-mounted gate taller than 3 feet to keep my cat out of a room. This gate met all the requirements except that the distance between the bars was 3 inches--just large enough for my cat to get his head and one front leg through. I liked the gate, though, so my handyman attached a smaller metal grid, painted white to match, to one side that effectively keeps the cat out and still looks attractive.
Perfect gate for my jumper!
This gate is exactly what we’ve been looking for for our dog who manages to escape with any other gate(s) we used. 42” is also much higher than I anticipated after seeing it in person. Perfect height to keep my dog where she is supposed to be!
Tall pet gate
This gate is exactly what we were looking for. Love the height, the fact that it opens both ways and the secure fit. Also wish I could find one built as study in an extra wide width. I'll buy one once they do make it. Would recommend this gate to everyone looking for one
Worked out great!
Bought this for my "grand dogs"... Two big pitty mixes. My son placed the gate in the doorway from the laundry room to the garage. That way he can have the big garage door open, and the dogs can be in the house and still see "dad" outside. It's a tall gate, so it keeps them from jumping up and trying to hang over the top of the gate. This was a great find!
Didn’t work for me
A very nice sturdy gate. I bought it to keep my fighting cats away from each other, it worked for about a week, then my 13 1/2 pound cat somehow managed to squeeze through the slats
Keeping cats out of room
It's doing just what I hoped the gate would - keeping my cat out of a room during certain times of the day when I'm not home. I was worried it was going to be too short, but so far, it's working. It has fallen down twice but only from being leaned on by people (I also probably didn't adjust it as tight as it will go) kind of a pain to open and close the little gate, so I tend to leave it looser - easier to open/shut for me.
