Kitty Holster Cat Harness

I had previously bought a leash-like harness and my cat was not having it at all. I put treats on top of this harness on day one. On day two I put the harness on with very little resistance. My cat walked a little weird at first but we’ve had no issues. He tried once to wiggle out but he couldn’t. I got the extra small and his measurements were smaller than listed but it fits well. Make sure to buy a leash since this harness does not come with one. This harness is a little pricer than the leash like ones but I would happily pay more than the listed price on this harness because of the ease and functionality of this harness.

Want to love this harness because I see it everywhere but the kitten (7 months) is clearly a little uncomfortable in it all the time. I'm not sure if he is just a little small for it, but I am pretty sure we have the right size. It looks like it fits snuggly at the beginning of an outdoor excursion, but 10 minutes in I realize that something's wrong and the harness is sliding to one side or another. Oh well!

I love how secure this harness is. My cat can't get out of it and she's been walking a lot better on the leash since getting this for her. I highly recommend! They do run small, so be sure to measure your cat and consider getting one size up.

It took Luke a few hours to figure out he could actually walk while wearing it. It kept him safe while traveling and allowed him to get outside while visiting friends

I was wanting a very secure harness for my 20 pound striped tabby, who is very strong and can get out of anything. This harness was it! Very strong Velcro securely fastens around to give a secure feel. At first he did not like it too much and did not want to walk but now he is excited to use it because he loves going outside. I measured him before I ordered, 12 in neck and 23 in tummy, and ordered the x-large, it fits him perfectly! I am hoping this will help him lose a few pounds haha.

Works great. Very secure. Makes it possible for old sick kitty to get some exercise and investigate new smells and sounds. When I pick up his harness and leash he runs to the door.

I recently took my cat, Theodore, on his first RV trip. It only took a couple of seconds for him to get use to his holster. He did excellent. The holster hugged his body and kept him secure. However I could have purchased one size smaller but it still worked.. For your cats comfort, you do have to be careful with long hair cats in the on and off process.

I ordered two of these, one for my thicc 6 month old (small), and one for my slender 1 year old (x-small). I wanted a harness that would provide a little bit more warmth and coverage for the cooler months. I have been walking my cats on regular harnesses since they were young. They both adapted to this new harness quickly. The neck area is pretty adjustable but be sure to measure your cat's chest area in order to determine what size they'll need. Like I said, my 1-year-old Chester, is very long and slender and the x-small fits in perfectly. Would recommend!

The strap along the back and the velcro straps around the neck and body are very stiff. The neck strap specifically seems overly thick and because of that and the stiffness it doesn't let my cat look down without seemingly choking herself. Build quality seems good but they seemed to skip on cat fit and comfort.
