Give your furry friend easy access to her bathroom with the KittyGoHere Senior Cat Litter Box. Ideal for young, old or mobility-challenged paw-tners, this box features a three-inch high entry point so your kitty can step right in without having to jump. It helps alleviate the pain that comes from arthritis and is more convenient than a high-entry box. This box from KittyGoHere also works for puppy litter box training and rabbit litter boxes.

I brought a feral cat into my home that had major problems. He had to have one of his eyes removed because of infection and had very poor sight in the eye he has left. It was a challenge to litter box train him. I had to crate him to get him to use the box but when he was out of the crate he would go in the floor. I saw this litter box on the site and gave it a try. Problem solved. I put the box where he was going in the floor and since then he has not had any accidents. Excellent litter box for cats that are challenged by the box!! Definitely worth the cost and then some.
My 19 year old Tonkinese had been really struggling with the height of her box (which I got because she was overshooting the edges.) I realized her arthritis was getting worse so I searched and found this box. When she stepped in it, she was so happy that she laid down in the box and purred for 15 minutes before leaving it. She was sooooo happy. And yes, it was a "Kodak" moment! ( she still occasionally overshoots, but her achy legs are happy now.)
I actually purchased this for my two rabbits, whose bathroom habits resulted in me pushing two regular sized litter boxes into their preferred corner. But it felt silly using two boxes for one location. This box fit perfectly and was even the same height as the old boxes so I didn't have to rearrange anything else when I set it up! It's also made of nice heavy duty plastic! I looked all over my local pet stores and couldn't find anything like this
I have a senior overweight cat. She had a regular sized litter box and there just wasn't enough room for her to do her business. She was stepping in her urine and litter was getting stuck all over her paws. She's older so she has a difficult time grooming herself, so I constantly had to clean her paws every time she used the bathroom. She was tracking litter all over my house. Ever since I got this new litter box, it's worked wonders. She has so much more room and the lower profile is great so she doesn't have to jump in and out and aggravate her arthritis. Her paws aren't yucky anymore and she seems a lot happier. Definitely recommend.
I don't want to negate the value of this box because it is well made and sturdy, so am giving it 5 stars. However, the interior dimensions are much smaller. The interior measures approximately 12" x 16". The exterior is 15" by 20" and that is to the outside edges of the handles and the front opening. It is a nice box, but know that it is not as wide on the inside as the measurements state. I would love to have purchased the large size, but the opening is on the side and would not work for our space.
Adopted a feral who never used indoor box The ease of use was the best Brought a regular size and this one Ended up using both Would say its a creative excellent box
This box is perfect for my cat who has moderate Cerebeller Hypoplasia (wobbly cat syndrome) it's sturdy, low enough for her to get in, and big enough for her to move around in
Nice, low entry and roomy for my senior cat with arthritis. You'll have to top off the litter every time you scoop because the edges are low, but it's worth it.
My 18 yr old was peeing over sides of regular litter box so I tried this one. He quickly decided to stop getting into any box and now uses puppy pads only. I wish I had not changed. This one may be too different with side opening and very low sides which also makes it a bit messy. I will donate it.
Our 17 year old cat has arthritis. Due to her joint issues getting in and out of the litter box was difficult. This box is much easier for her to access.
