Instructions
  1. Place the aquarium on a level, strong surface that is able to support the weight of the assembled aquarium and cannot be damaged by water.
  2. Rinse materials in running water – aquarium, gravel, stones, plastic plants and other decorations, etc. Place gravel, rocks and decorations in the tank, spreading the gravel evenly across the bottom of the aquarium.
  3. Mount hanger onto attachment post at the back of the SUPERCLEAN 10 filter by inserting post into 2nd hole of hanger. To raise or lower the filter adjust hanger up or down. Hang the filter on the back of the aquarium in the provided notch.
  4. Place the Hood on top of the tank and make sure it is fully seated. Insert LED light unit into back of hood turning to the right and tighten snuggly to secure it. Connect Transformer plug into port at end of the LED light unit. Plug Transformer into standard 110 volt wall socket (GFCI is recommended).
  5. Fill the aquarium with water to within one inch of the top of the tank. Do not overfill since spillage may occur. Add Perfect Start Day 1 packets to your aquarium. Wait 14 days and add the second group of packets. On day 28 add the third set of packets. Allow the aquarium to run for 24 hours before adding fish to allow the water to reach desired temperature.

    Not Happy with Conditions

    By on

I got this tank a month ago, the light already doesn't work and I've changed the battery 3 times. It also has cracks down 2 sides. Very disappointed.

    Battery operated??

    By on

I was disappointed that the light is battery operated. It requires three AAA batteries, that last no time at all. Whether or not it was in the description, I don’t know. I’ve never had lights that were battery operated so I would not even have expected it!

    Great Tank!

    By on

I've had my tank for over a year now and it is great. I have a beta her name is Rosey and she loves it! Very easy to keep clean and it is so pretty with the lights. I give this 5 stars. :)

    Great tank

    By on

This tank is amazing, it is NOT made to fit in the corners of rooms. It is just simply an angled tank. I love the color changer . It’s worth the money.

    Not what I envisioned

    By on

When I saw "corner tank" I thought this was the perfect new home for my betta that lives on a corner shelf. In my mind, I pictured the 90 degree angled corner to fit into the 90 degree angle of the wall, and the filter would be housed on either of sides. I guess this is my fault for not paying attention to the photo better, but it wasn't until I opened it and went to test it on the shelf that I realized the filter is housed on the long side of the tank. I could just be backwards, but to me I want to look at the nice flat surface without a large black filter and cords hanging out of it, rather than looking at a sharp corner which they consider the front. Posting this for the other people out there When I saw "corner tank" I thought this was the perfect new home for my betta that lives on a corner shelf. Posting this for the other people out there who had the same design idea as I did. The quality of this is good, but the flakes and additive packets it came with were all expired. I bought this mid-April 2018, and the packets ranged in expiration dates between 11/2017 and 03/2018. … more

    Overall good!

    By on

Idk if id pay full price for this (got a 3.5gal kit for 20 recently) but this is a decent set up for one betta female or a small, long finned male. The filter can be a bit swift so i reccomend using some filter sponge or other biofilter material to slow it down. Also, keeping water level up helps. One thing that's a pain with this is battery powered lighting which is not great with live plants (bettas need live or silk plants) but it has good room for a heater and overall works well for my girl

    API Aquarium 2.5 Gallon

    By on

My betta "Marvin" and I, absolutely love this aquarium. He is such a happy pet and I am so glad I have the heater for him, as well. I am comforted to know that no matter what the cold temp is, he is safe and comfortable. Right On, Chewy! Mar
