KONGs are easy to keep clean and top-shelf dishwasher safe. Caretakers should regularly examine toys and look for cracks, separations and/or missing pieces. Inspect KONG rubber toys by flexing the rubber when it is dry. Loose pieces larger than a food nugget can be harmful if swallowed so make sure to remove or replace damaged or worn toys.
After reading other reviews, it sounds like it's important to find the right size of treat to match the hole diameter. Dry cat food works great for us. My vet recommended this to increase activity for my furry couch potatoes. Dumbledore and Hagrid prefer dry food but have been moved to primarily wet for weight control. The highlight of their day is chasing these balls and gobbling up the kibble that falls out. The only problem I've had is that they bat them ALL over the house and sometimes we lose one for days. Then they seem to take perverse pleasure in watching me crawl around the house searching under the furniture.

Sorry easy to put treats in made to clean But for Treats to come out 1 Role and play time over Treats come out all over floor cat or cats eat all It’s made with hole to big I had to put tape over hole inside and out so treats come out slowly so I mite try cat nip Put close up hole completely or big mess poorly designed for what it’s made for
Waste of money

It's HUGE! ( About the size of a woman's fist) It's not a cat toy ..it's more so a toy for large breed dogs. I use temptations treats and they all fall out with a fraction of a roll. My Oscar doesn't even try to push or roll the thing around, even after showing him that treats come out, because it's so big and heavy. Was so cheap that I didn't see it worth sending back for a refund.
Don't buy unless ur cat plays with big heavy objects.

I have four cats and they all love this treat dispenser! I needed something to keep them occupied while I am at work and this was purrfect! I change it up by filling it with catnip occasionally. The one downside is that I'm fishing them out from under furniture each day but that's not a big deal.
Seems to work well.

This seems to work well. The treats come out easy enough to keep a cat interested; but not so easy that they wouldn't need to work a little bit to get the treat. My Lily is a unique case. She had been feral for so long before moving inside the house that some things bother her that shouldn't. The sound of the plastic ball rolling on the floor for instance. Although it didn't work for her, I think it would for most. It would be fun and exercise for the right kitty.
My Fur Babies Love This Toy!!

This is the purrfect toy for your cats! It took no time at all for my cats to figure out there was something yummy in the ball for them. They sit together and take turns batting the ball until a treat falls out. Highly recommended!
Not a hit with my cats

This hard plastic treat ball sounds pretty annoying across a hard floor, which then makes my cats not want to play with it. The treats just fall out of it nearly with each turn it makes, which isn't very challenging -- I guess you have to find the perfect size of treat. I bought one for each of my three cats and regret buying all that plastic for nothing. My cats are too entitled to play with something that I don't move around for them, so you'd probably need a pretty hyper kitty for this toy.
Not my favorite, not my cat's fave either

What I like about this treat ball is that it's easy to fill. The treats come out too easy too, and I don't like that. It's not as engaging and challenging as other treat balls we have. The price was great, however.
Cheap but does the trick!

This is less than $3 and it shows. Sometimes challenging for humans to open and re-fill with treats, but my cat loves it! First form of "enrichment" he has even paid any attention to.
Not So Active Treat Toy

My cats played with this toy for a short time due to the easiness of the treats falling out. A little more difficulty in getting to the treats would make this a more challenging toy that would keep the cats interest. Would not recommend it.
