My dog is eating the felt, will he get sick from this felt?
Answer by ChewyJun 19, 2020
It is preferred that the dog does not eat the felt and you should remove it from consumption as soon as possible. Although a small amount of felt should not disrupt the digestive system, it is recommended to remove and dispose of the separate piece(s).

Kong Bit the Dust

I have a pit/husky/wolf mix with a neighbor dog being a German Shep/? mix. They play hard although my dog is almost 12 and the neighbor's dog is just 1. I figured this toy would work for them being a "tough" Kong. WRONG. They distroyed it in only a couple of weeks! Here is a picture of both the culprits with the toy between them that I had to throw away so they wouldn't choke on the itty bitty pieces!

Cheap quality

I purchased this toy for my dog for Christmas because he loves to hear things squeak. Within a week the inside seam of the toy came apart making the toy useless. I also purchased the Kong football that did the same thing. It came apart on the inside and was useless within a week. My dogs do not chew toys apart. We have had other toys that have lasted four and five years and they’re still playing with them and they’re still squeaking.

Not nearly Tuff Enough

This is a perfect toy for dogs to play tug with. They each get a ball to hold in their mouth. I bought the largest size since two 1 year old labs would be playing with it. After about two plays with it, the fabric starts to come apart in the middle and the bar that connects the two balls split. One of the dogs got a piece of the fabric loose and swallowed it before it could be taken from him. I bought another one figuring maybe that one was bad and I got the same result from the second meaning the fabric peeled off in same place and bar split. Dogs love it but it does not hold up to two dog play.

Waste of money

My 1 1/2 year old bulldog ripped this apart in 20 minutes. It was not worth my money. I’m tired of buying Kong “tough” toys!

Unsatisfactory

My huskies do love this toy but it lasts 3 minutes before cover is chewed and torn off, we threw toy away because we don't want them eating the shredded pieces. Because it is a Kong dog chew toy we expect it to be durable not shredded within minutes. Do not buy!

PERFECT FOR HEAVY CHEWERS

Very firm, I got the large for my small English bulldog mix. Its large and has some weight to it but she was able to fit the middle in her mouth to carry it. We struggle to find good chew toys that will keep her busy and this toy has done really helped with that thus far.

Top 1000 Contibutor

Charlie the Shephard loves his dumbbell!

Our son's dog who he just rescued loves his Kong Air Dog Dumbbell, it is a strong and durable toy but he is a year and a half old so it only lasts for a couple of months before he tears the covering off and breaks through it. But he has fun playing with it,
