Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

We have a non-profit here called Fences For Fido. They go anywhere needed to build fences around yards to get dogs off chains. A lot goes into what they do. One of the small things that can be done is donate their favorite toy, Kong, to give to the newly freed dog. This one will be given to a dog named Saidee this Saturday when her fence goes up. I plan on trying to purchase at least one with every order.
Love Love Love This Kong For My Mal-german Shepherds
on Aug 15, 2018
I love the kong because I fill it up with doggy ice cream, soaked dog food, dog food and yogurt and I freeze it. Keeps my busy minded dogs entertained. When I need to sit back and not worry it comes in handy. Or on a hot day when I take it out of the freezer they love it. Durable/entertaining. Good to have on hand
Best Toy U Can Get Your Dog

The kong is your best investment for your dog if you know how to probably use it you can keep your dog or pup out of trouble while away from home also not to worry if your dog will choke on a peace of bone and you can do a thing about it . Chewy has the best price so far on any of their product products. My german Shepherd goes crazy for his kong
Love this toy!

This has to be not only my favorite but also my dogs favorite Kong toy. So many different ways to set this toy up. On hot summer days I stuff it with kibbles and treats, seal it with yogurt and pop it in the freezer. A great way to cool down. This item is made from a firm but soft rubber. Great for teething and satifies the need to chew.
I do not leave the this toy out once it's empty and my dog has finished with it. I do this to prolong it's life; I can see it being chewed to bits if left out all the time. This toy is easy to clean and can go in the dishwasher. I personally always put it on the top rack of the dishwasher.
Puppy loves it!

I have a beagle mix puppy who’s about 20lbs. He’s a very rough and hard chewer but he loves this! We fill it with his usual puppy food but moistened, then close it off with a spoonful of peanut butter and freeze at least an hour but it can sit in the freezer till we need it :) very helpful to have more than one ready to go!
Classic Dog Toy!

You can always count on this toy! Love stuffing with Peanut Butter, then freezing for great dog "babysitter". It is great for a distraction when you need your dog when you need it. My dog is an extremely aggressive chewer and he has not even made a dent on these things. I have different sizes in the freezer (depends on how long I need the dog to be occupied! lol)
Dogs go wild over this toy.

We have a Kong toy similar to this that we have had for about 15 years - it was our Boxers. Our French Bulldog then adopted it. Our Tibetan Terrier has recently started trying to play with it so we felt it was time to buy another one before we have a war. They both love to get their food in them.
Novel idea, but my dog won't go near it
on May 31, 2018
My dog never did like rubber toys so I was hesitant to purchase this but wanted something for him to do while I was away at work. Just as I suspected, he didn't go near it. I tried to get him interested in the treats inside, but no luck. I called the manufacturer and explained about the strong rubber smell, which is why I assume he doesn't like it. She explained to soak it in tepid water with a few drops of vanilla extract over night. It did take the smell away but only for a while. My dog still wouldn't touch it even when it smelled less rubbery. She told me to call back if it didn't solve the problem. I haven't called back yet, but I will. The toy is very sturdy. I have a 20 lb maltese mix and bought a size small b/c here on the website it says use small size for up to 20 lbs. But on the instructions inside the package it says for Maltese use x-small, which I agree, the x-small would have been better for the size of his mouth. I think most dogs would like this toy if they don't mind other rubber toys.… more
frozen stuffed kongs great entertainment

I have been using kongs for over 20 years for my dogs. Stuff them full of treats and top off with peanut butter, wet dog food, yogurt/banana mixture. The dogs love them. Fill with broth and freeze as an cool down treat on a hot day. Red is for light chewers. Black is for heavy chewers.
Smells like chemicals
on Jul 22, 2018
I was anticipating using these for training my pup, keeping her occupied when guests arrive. My dog won't even take the kongs. Not even when there's peanut butter in them. They reek of chemicals. I've tried washing, soaking, boiling them. Nothing had gotten the smell out. I'm very disappointed.
