  • Sasha loves the 4 kings we got

    By on

My wife and I are planning on going on the road in a semi truck full time and going "Houseless." I decided I'd get 4 kong balls to start training Sasha to keep herself entertained while we are at a truck stop and go inside to shower and be out of the truck for longer periods of time. Also I think it will be a good tool to use to feed her the amount of food she will get throughout the day. I say that if you want to give your dog a challenge and something to keep busy for a while. Buy kong balls and learn the different skill levels to train your dog to use them properly. And the bonus to buying them on chewy.com is that they are around half the price than in a store.

  • My dogs and I love Chewy

    By on

I have always bought Kong. This is only the second Kong classic my dog has chewed up in less than a half-hour. The first one was the big black Tire and this when used to be her favorite one listed on the picture but I believe I bought the wrong size so it was easier for her to tear apart. This will not stop me from buying from chewy or Kong. Very happy with the service and the promptness. Happy shopping. Markboysgirl

  • Great Toy for Tough Chewer

    By on

My 2 yr old Rottweiler loves his new Kong toy! It’s great for putting peanut butter or treats inside and provides at least 1-2hrs of excitement. I imagine this one will last for quite awhile, it look him almost 1 yr to chew through his first one. The black colored Kongs seem to be the most resilient to his style of chewing.

  • Got to have

    By on

This is probably the best thing created for a dog. My dog cannot wait for her Kong when she sees that I am loading it up. It has helped her with being bored and she doesn’t whine when me and my wife leave. We don’t buy any fillers though. We load it up with fruits and vegetables and her treats and either yougurt, pumpkin, or wet dog food. And then we freeze it. Before we leave we put in her crate and she can’t wait to go in. Now she wants to be in there all the time.

  • Mixed feelings - safe but not very fun without treats

My dog destroys all stuffed toys within the first day so I wanted something I could be safe leaving her alone with to chew. I just put a little peanut butter in and it always keeps her occupied for an hour or so, so I'm happy with that. However, while I feel confident leaving my 30 lb Cocker Spaniel mix alone with the medium Kong I bought (there's no way she's chewing through it), I noticed she shows absolutely 0 interest in the toy unless I've placed food inside, probably because it doesn't roll as nicely as a ball does. She prefers to chew on other things, like the furniture. I'm a bit disappointed by that, since she gains weight easily and I didn't want to keep on feeding her in order to My dog destroys all stuffed toys within the first day so I wanted something I could be safe leaving her alone with to chew. The toy is a bit on the higher end of the price spectrum, and you're definitely getting a good quality toy, but I wanted her to also be inherently interested in it too, without me having to bribe her. Still, I'd say that there's no harm in any dog owner having a Kong ready and loaded in their freezer, for a no-worries chew. … more

  • Great Pyrenees loves it.

We actually have two of these, and they help keep our big girl busy when we go out for the evening. I fill one with a mix of moistened kibble and cut-up treats, seal it with dog-safe peanut butter, and put it in the fridge or freezer to firm it up a bit. When we get ready to leave the house, I put it by her bowl - she watches us till we get out the door, then "steals" it and runs to her bed to enjoy her prize!

  • 2lb yorkie

My baby loves his kong, I do give 3 stars because he only uses it if it has a treat inside. It would be nice if they were just a bit more enticing without a snack. It does keep him busy for a bit though. I only Put Kong Cookies as he’s far too small for experimenting with cheese, yogurt or peanut butter.

  • A MUST have for those with 'chewers'!

    By on

AWESOME! Still have this! If your fur baby destroys every toy you get/give him this is a MUST have! Have head this well over 8 months & my fur baby has not managed to bite even a tiny piece out of it! YAY! Every night my dog heads off to bed with me & he is given this with some peanut butter spread around the inside rim. He LOVES it! It's a great way for him to burn off that last bit of energy before he closes his eyes & heads off into dreamland.

  • Rubber Smell The Dog Doesn't Enjoy

    By on

My dog (like most dogs, I'm sure) enjoys digging in these treat dispensers and it is a good way to keep them happy with a challenge while they are getting a treat. I've found that the KONGs are very durable, but on the rare occasions that I need to replace them the overwhelming rubber smell is very off-putting for my dog. I've soaked them in soapy water for days in an attempt to reduce or eliminate the odor with only questionable results. She doesn't like to carry it in her mouth because of the smell and (undoubtedly) flavor the new rubber. If my dog can stick with it I'm willing to bet time, the treats and her slobber will change the odor and taste of this product to something less offensive My dog (like most dogs, I'm sure) enjoys digging in these treat dispensers and it is a good way to keep them happy with a challenge while they are getting a treat. • Kong classic dog toy

    By on

All three of my dogs love these Kong toys. We stuff them with pumpkin or bananas and some broken up pieces of treats. Freeze them and in the evening when it’s time to relax and calm down from a long day, they just chew away. They are so in love with this treat at night. I think I love it even more !
