Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

Almost every dog I know has loved these. I fill them with high quality canned dog food, or else I puree chicken breast, steamed broccoli, and a little filtered water to make a slurry that I fill them with and freeze them. Then I pull them out and let the dogs chew on these as a treat. Much better than something super hard. I used to give my dogs bully sticks or things like that until my dog broke her tooth (right after my vet warned me that she didn't like to give her dogs something as hard as that but I thought, "what are the odds?") and my dog had to have an expensive tooth extraction. So, I moved on to these. Great product, dishwasher safe for the top basket.
Way too small!
on Feb 16, 2018
I'm not sure if Kong made these smaller or what but I ordered this one and a puppy one to replace an old Kong my puppy has. I ordered the small as I know I didn't get him a large last time ( he's a 10 month old pug the large is bigger than his mouth) and the medium as well is to big. When I received this I was shocked it's so small even for him! It's also way to small for the kong stuff treats even though on the package it says it fits small kongs. I now have a treat stuck inside it that neither myself or my pup can get out. Will be donating the other to a shelter and purchasing something else for my pup to play with.
Had No Idea They'd Be So Small

I ordered 4 Small red Kongs that are recommended for dogs up to 20 lbs. My dogs are around 15 lbs. I was shocked to see how small these Small ones are! I can't imagine how they could make a Kong any smaller- and there's still an X-Small! Not much difference in the dimensions, which you can find if you scroll down and look on the right. But on the packaging, there's the size but no dimensions. I can put about 12 pieces of dry kibble into each Small Kong- not much! They're still sturdy, so that's why I'm giving them a 3, but Kong needs to put the dimensions on the packaging, too. In the video, there are 4 sizes lined up next to each other. Ended up in the trash

Please only buy this for a toy breed or a chihuahua.. I love Kong and everything but this is WAY too small. I couldn’t even give it to my 4 month old puppy because I was scared she would choke on it. It is smaller than the palm of my hand and I couldn’t even fit my pinkie finger in it. I thought extra small would be a good size because I didn’t want to give my dog too many treats, later found out the medium size would have been better. My dog was 15 lbs at the time and she is a bully breed so I figured an extra small would be good due to her short snout, I was VERY wrong..
My dogs and I love Chewy
on Jan 15, 2018
I have always bought Kong. This is only the second Kong classic my dog has chewed up in less than a half-hour. The first one was the big black Tire and this when used to be her favorite one listed on the picture but I believe I bought the wrong size so it was easier for her to tear apart. This will not stop me from buying from chewy or Kong. Very happy with the service and the promptness. Happy shopping. Markboysgirl
Perfect for hours of entertainment

Both my boys my little shitzu & my shepherd mutt loooooove their kongs. I put a little bit of peanut butter in them and they love it, even spend hours with this toy after eating all of it. Keeps them busy and it’s durable. My shepherd always spends more time with it & likes to try to chew on it to the inside to see if there’s any more peanut butter lol but he hasn’t been able to chew through it at all. Highly recommend!

The peanut butter squeeze kept her busy for hours so we could get work done and the treats fit perfect!! I am so glad I bought two..but its been weeks and not had to bring the other one out yet!!
A GREAT BUY!! GET 2!!

I've had this toy for my dog for a while now and its doing great,
most of the time i get her a toy and it's shredded within a few hours but she hasn't managed to penetrate this one at all yet,i give it 5 stars cus my dog is a puppy and when it comes to toys shes brutal but this one has been able to stand up to her wonderfully and it is saving me from having to constantly replace toys
Great Toy for Tough Chewer
on Jan 8, 2018
My 2 yr old Rottweiler loves his new Kong toy! It’s great for putting peanut butter or treats inside and provides at least 1-2hrs of excitement. I imagine this one will last for quite awhile, it look him almost 1 yr to chew through his first one. The black colored Kongs seem to be the most resilient to his style of chewing.
Both are lasting FOREVER

We bought these a while ago for our large dogs (for reference 40lb Lab/Pit mix and 60lb GSD).
Our Lab/Pit mix is a CRAZY chewer and I had a really hard time finding her something that would last, kept her interest, and wasn't cloth or rawhide. These are worth every penny. I stuff them with the shaped cookies they sell or with peanut butter, wet food..anything that will stick in there. They go nuts and it keeps them busy for a long time. Neither have any teeth marks or cracks so they are definitely durable. It's so fun to watch their minds work and figure out how to get the treats out. My GSD is a more dainty chewer but he still chews these so they aren't too rough for the more sensitive guysWe bought these a while ago for our large dogs (for reference 40lb Lab/Pit mix and 60lb GSD).
