- Provides play, helps reduce boredom, and relieves separation anxiety.

Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off. Power chewers: Increase one or two sizes or try KONG Extreme.

Security Toy
By Malka on Apr 2, 2021
Our foster German Shepard had a very stressful beginning and was slow to warm up (and even slower to trust). Of all the myriad toys in the house, he somehow became attached to our resident dog's Kong. After a few days, that Kong was his constant pacifier. Wherever he was, awake or asleep, it was. After several months of this (and remember, the Kong was old and had been used on and off for two years by our resident Shepard), the Kong began to show small cracks. We decided to try to replace the well-worn Kong with a new one, not knowing how well it might be accepted. When it arrived, we soaked the two Kongs together in a basin of warm water, stuffed the new Kong with treats, "ditched" the old Kong Our foster German Shepard had a very stressful beginning and was slow to warm up (and even slower to trust). We continued our efforts (by playing catch with the new one, etc.) and by the morning of the third day there was peace in our home once more. The new Kong is this dog's constant companion and really seems to give him the comfort he needs. … more

Gotta Love A Frozen Kong
By SharonC on Mar 29, 2021
I love these Kongs!!! I have several of them that I stuff with kibble, green beans, peanut butter, bananas, and other snacks before freezing them! Once frozen they make great treats for my dogs that spend over half an hour eating! I am super excited because I just got myself a blender to use to mix up all the healthy vegetables and fruits I usually stuff inside them. I plan to blend everything together to create my own “filler” so that I don’t have to spend money on the tubes of filler that Kong sells at ridiculous prices

Great for any dog
By Katie on Apr 1, 2021
My dog was fed out of a kong after we were done with our daily training. It kept him occupied and encouraged him to eat slow. I recommend these to people who ask me about training a puppy or dog just for something occupy their minds. I've never had a big chewer, so none of my dogs have actually destroyed one yet. I just need to replace the one that fell out of my truck on a trip.

Best Since the 70’s
By LBVandal on Mar 7, 2021
Sometimes I forget to order a Kong for my dog as Kong’s have been around almost my entire life and I always find myself looking for that new fun toy. I adopted my dog one year ago and realized (after she has destroyed far too many toys) that she had never had a Kong. She loves it, can chew to her hearts content and will never destroy her Kong, she also loves the wacky direction that it bounces. Where I volunteer we fill up the Kongs with wet and dry food then freeze them and give one to each dog when they are left for the night. Keeps the dogs safely busy longer than any other toy. This has to be the best classic dog toy ever!

Breaking down material
By Puppy1 on Apr 3, 2021
I usually love KONGs. This one must be made of a different material. I washed it after my puppy had her lunch in it and the material started breaking down. It is really sticky now and full bite marks. She only used it once. Our other KONGs have never done this. I was really bummed.

It’s a kong ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
By Beef on Mar 12, 2021
Everyone knows Kong and everyone has at least one. I bought a few of these for feeding time. I portion out a meal of dry kibble, soak it in water for 3 minutes, fill the Kong and freeze it. The next day, I smear peanut butter or cream cheese on the large end, and put this in the crate with my 6 month old GSD pup for breakfast and/or lunch. She goes to town and thinks she’s getting a treat when it’s just a regular meal. Helps reinforce crate training, too!

Classic for a Reason
By Jenn on Apr 5, 2021
I wasn't convinced by the Kong hype at first, but once I did a little research/got a little creative in how I stuffed it (and committed to ALWAYS freezing them), I was a convert. Nothing but nice things to say, and of course, Chewy is wonderful in their delivery and customer service. <3

Too hard for a smaller puppy
By Sailmate63 on Mar 16, 2021
I got the small size first but the bones get really stuck in there. I thought I would buy the medium so it would be a little easier to get the bones out but it is too hard and I cannot even get the bones out by squeezing it. At least the small I can squeeze. I wish this was a little softer but keep the size. I have a 3 month old puppy. West Highland White Terrier.

Not for aggressive chewers
By Vero on Apr 7, 2021
I was told by a friend that this product was durable and lasting for aggressive chewers so I purchased it. Unfortunately that was not the case. I have a pitbull terrier and he destroyed the thing within 10 min of me giving it to him. Same day it arrived.

I cannot destroy this toy
By Harlee on Feb 27, 2021
My master is ecstatic. As much as I try, I cannot destroy this toy. Additionally, I love when they put delicious treats in the center so I can spend a long time (my master says five seconds) getting it out and eating it. I highly recommend this toy if you have a hound puppy like me who is a shredder of all toys, bones, dog paraphenalia. Happy chewing fellow Ruff-ians.
