Classic--for sure! Great product!
As a regional animal shelter, we are always looking for enrichment for the animals in our care. Classic is the best word to describe the original Kong! Stuffed with yummies, then frozen--these nearly indestructible toys provide long lasting entertainment for the dogs. That they are easy to clean makes them our top choice!
One of the only toys that survived
My 2 yr old lab/terrier is a high-energy, aggressive chewer, so I was shocked when I noticed she couldn't even leave "bite marks" in this toy. After countless chewed up "extreme chewer" toys, I was so glad to have found this!! Easy to fill with her regular dry food and natural peanut butter, then pop in the freezer overnite for a goodbye morning treat.
Long Lasting
It's a good durable toy that will last even the biggest jaws for a lifetime! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because they advertise it as the Large, when this is actually the MEDIUM Kong! There is one quite a bit larger than this one that I will need to order, but this will do fine in the meantime.
My dogs love these. They are very sturdy and last a long time. And it gives them something to do when I’m at work. I have had them in multiple sizes for different dogs and they are all great. I just put some peanut butter in there and they are busy for a long time trying to get it out. One of the best dog toys.
Great toy for aggressive chewer
My 36lb Cavapoo named Baron can chew thru most anything. I have spent so much money buying toys that are destroyed in minutes. This toy has lasted for months, and then replace it when it starts to look worn. I have put a small amount of sugar free peanut butter inside or sugar free yogurt and freeze as a treat. . This is a safe and versatile toy for dogs that are aggressive chewers.
It's a Kong
If you know dogs you know about kongs. You can stuff them with practically anything pet edible and freeze for longer entertainment. This is one of the 1st toys I always get my dogs.
Not as good as guaranteed
I have bought these toys for a while. as I have a baby Malligator9Belgium Malinois), she has been able to chew 2 of these so called indestructible toys, when I wrote them for a replacement for this one. "THEY NEED A RECIEPT" , for proof of purchase, I don't know of anyone whom keeps the receipt when they give their dog a toy!!
The best
All of our dogs over the years have always loved these kongs. I fill them with peanut butter and they are quite for a while, or if I know I’m going to be out of the house for a while I give it to them.
not for Riley
My dog thought he was supposed to eat the toy along with the peanut butter. In a matter of minutes he chewed the rubber off in a circle as he ate the treat! Not good for dogs who like to chew!!!
don’t buy
this toy is NOT indestructible. our 24lb dog ate the top off and swallowed it causing a bowel obstruction that didn’t show up on scans because this material cant be seen. do not buy this
