Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I have been wanting to get my Dutch Shepherd into frisbee fun, but he's always been afraid of the hard plastic types and ducks when they come his way and has a hard time picking them up from he ground. This one is rubbery, so figured it would work for him. Unfortunately - super chewer did get the hang of it and played with it for a few days, then it became a chew toy and doesn't fly now. Had to throw it away. Unless your dog could be a stand in for Jaws, it should be a fun toy. I also got the large, and think the smaller version would be better for me to throw it farther. I guess we will stay with the chuck it and Kong balls.
I've had this frisbee for my GSD/Husky mix for almost a year and a half. She has a problem with laying down and giving any ball or frisbee she has and going to town. Initially I had trepidation that this strong rubber frisbee would just be an expensive 1-hour toy. This toy is by far the longest lasting toy that my dog has had. She has tried to rip and tear this thing apart. But truthfully, the only damage is a few superficial scratches from pulling the frisbee out of her mouth.
I love to chase this thing down and pounce on it. Sometimes it's hard to pick up off the ground, but I just have to smoosh it around so I can get a tooth under it, which is fun in itself. It's also a great training tool. My hooman puts treats in it and folds it up like a taco to get my attention, then feeds them to me when I complete the task. The toy is also very strong and can be used for tug of war. 11/10
My dog put a hole in the center the first time we played with it. Looks like a donut now. She's not a "chewer" but likes to chew/pull at it a little after we've been throwing it around a while. The center is really thin, flexible rubber. That's where she put the hole. I had to write a review because if my non-chewer destroyed it that quick...it doesn't stand a chance with other dogs.
Wow. What a disappointment. I spent so long pouring over reviews and searching the huge amount of offerings for just the perfect Christmas gift for my year old retreiver grandpuppy. He loves catching frisbees and the first one he learned with was this Kong. Somehow it was lost and replaced with other plastic ones which he also enjoys. I chose to spend my money on another Kong to replace the one he'd lost. They opened it with him Christmas morning, took his picture with it and went on opening gifts. A few minutes later they looked over to see him surrounded by shredded and chewed red rubber. He had destroyed it in mere minutes. A dog that isnt a chewer and still manages to have most every toy he's ever received. Im so disappointed. Not only for the time I spent looking for the perfect gift, the money I spent on it and the fact that he never even got outside with it even once. Had I known this would happen, I would've thrown him a twenty dollar bill to chew up. Maybe Kongs just aren't what they used to be. Save your money. Next year I'll buy him treats to enjoy and for now his beat up plastic frisbees will have to do. Save your money.
Good solid Frisbee, but I wanted a smaller softer one for playing catch inside. We will use this outside this summer, but it's too big for inside. It is as described, I had a puppy one previously and didn't realize this would be so much more heavy duty. If a heavy duty one is what you need, this is Perfect!!
Best and most durable pet toys, hands down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not what I expected. Very flimsy rubber material. I purchase Kong because my very strong mouthed Weim destroys even the best made toys. This toy lasted about 10 minutes before it was in pieces. The Kong bone is the only one he cannot destroy.
This frisbee is no match for an aggressive chewer! It was red so I mistakenly took it for a tougher rubber which the kong is made out of. But the flat surface of the disk made it easy for my dog to decimate.
I have a toy Aussie who loves this frisbee. It would probably last forever but she is on her third one. She drops them in the canal and occasionally we are unable to retrieve it. She likes to catch it in the air and I do not want a hard plastic for that. This is perfect in every way.
