Worked great
French bulldog; size Medium. She had a spay and nostril surgery. This worked great and she's really very comfortable. She can move, eat, drink, all she needs to. I did try it on prior to the surgery - and see how it worked, how she could move, etc. and she hated it at first, but then didn't care. I highly recommend trying before the surgery as at first, it was too inflated and she couldn't breathe! Saw the other reviews on "hard to blow-up" - and if you've ever inflated anything, it's the exact same.
not holding air
I think this cone would have worked if it held the air. But after blowing up and according to instructions not tightly filled, after a day or 2 of wear, in had deflated. The air pumps I have did not work to inflate this. I had to rely on lung power, and my lungs are not what they use to be. I chedked the cap to be sure it was tight and it was, not sure where it was leaking air from.
Great for High Anxiety Dog!
My puppy has very high anxiety and this pillow helped out!! She was immediately calm in it and didn’t mind it one bit! Unfortunately she popped it when in her crate with no chewing toys available. Which isn’t the products fault! I would buy it again!
Excellent product Size up
The collar keeps him from licking a wound on his upper front leg. The measurement given for neck size is absolutely incorrect. I ordered large and it was too small. Then ordered extra large and it is perfect. You do need to reinflate the pillow at least twice a day, but he is so much more comfortable in it than a cone which made him hot. I take it off when he eats and takes a walk but he can drink water just fine.Finally healing well.
Disappointing - not quite right
We purchased the Kong Cloud inflatable collar for our 56 lb goldendoodle to wear following his neuter procedure. We took all measurements required before ordering. Upon arrival we found it extremely difficult to inflate. After his procedure we put it on him and he is still able to reach his incision area. We will eiether have to replace it or supplement it with a recovery suit.
Only thing to use
This is the first time I tried a donut in place of the cone of shame and it is the only way to go. My foster doesn't mind it at all.
Kong collar
Not sure if it will hold up. He is being neutered on 4/27, and is a very active puppy who chews a lot. Only 18 lbs, but is agile. I am a tad worried. We bought it in advance to see if it fit him - it does, but we will see. Saying no to "recommend" based on uncertainty & the softness of the collar (is it hardy enough).
Better than a cone
I purchased this for my Belgian Tervuren after he was neutered. I liked that it attached to the collar. Because my dog has a long nose, he was able to chew off the strap. Luckily, it still helped.
requires pet collar
The product looks quite solid but unfortunately my cat can’t use this product since he’s not wearing a collar (his neck had irritation so we had to remove his collar). Sharing in case others are considering and may be in the same boat.
Not worth the effort
Although I thought it would be more convenient and comfortable for my dog after being neutered, it was worthless. Was extremely hard to inflate and did not deter him from locking the area it was designed to protect. Should have stuck with the Elizabethian collar.
