KONG’s Core Strength BowTie is specially designed with chewers in mind. This durable toy is built to bring dogs excitement, extended play time and plenty of chew time with its multilayered core. The extra layers in the center make this toy even tougher, while the textured exterior is designed to help encourage healthy gums and teeth as your pal chews. With interactive play like a friendly game of fetch, you’ll be able to strengthen the bond you have with your furry friend further! Best of all, this toy comes in more than one size, so you can choose the right one for your pal.
Comes in more than one size so you can choose the best bone for your furry friend.
Designed with a multilayer core for extra reinforcement against your canine’s chewing.
Great for a game of toss and fetch or for your dog to chew on as he relaxes at home.
Helps encourage interactive play to reduce boredom and keep your dog entertained.
The exterior has raised words like “top dog” designed to keep your pal’s teeth and gums clean as he chews to his heart’s content.
I had this added to my autoship and it was delivered Wednesday evening. I gave this to my dog for the first time last night (Thursday). In about 20 minutes she had chunks of the rubber off of the core and was gagging on it. It's great that it has the strong core, but not so great if the dog can get the rubber off of the core. The interactive hide a critter stuffed cloth toys we buy her are more durable than this was! If I could give it no starts, I would!!!
Lilly and Lucy destroyed!

My girls have the balls made of the same material, and love them. Haven't managed to pull off even the smallest piece. So, I decided to give these a try since they are the same material. Well, I think they lasted 10 minutes. I now have blue plastic shreds all over the living room. However both girls are so proud of themselves.
In less then an hour

Horrible made not worth the price if you have dogs who love to chew.

Didn't hold my dog's attention

I bought this for my 8mo Shepsky, who is still in his chewing phase. He played with it for a little while and then completely lost interest. I feel if it had a squeaker or crinkle feature that he'd be more interested in chewing on it instead of my furniture.
NOT for power chewers

Perfect shape for our paws-on-pup. She loves holding toys with her paws while she plays/chews. BUT does NOT hold up! She had it for 20 minutes & had one end torn apart.
Not for my dog

I have a 2 1/2 yr old yellow lab and he destroyed the thing in about 10 minutes. I have found the large black Kong bone about the only thing he can’t destroy right away.

I bought this for our bulldog because it said it was durable. I believe it was even pictured with a bulldog. The promised excitement lasted for 15 minutes. I guess since it was to help with teeth cleaning, he just got a good 15 minute teeth brushing for 11.99.
Good for tough chewers

Jake loves hard chewy toys, like Nylabones, but after breaking some teeth, and expensive dental surgery, we needed to find something that would hold up. We bought several “indestructible” rubber toys that didn’t survive an afternoon. This seems to satisfy his need to chew, and he hasn’t gotten any pieces off of it.

After having this chew toy for three days, my boy chewed a hole in it large enough to get the tip of his tongue in.
I threw it out
poor quality compared to other kong toys
on Oct 29, 2020
Not only is this toy way too small to be appropriate for medium/large dogs, it’s of low quality and does not belong in the heavy chewers section at all. King bones and balls last my pup several weeks at least... not only had he chewed it this far in hardly an hour, but when he did I discovered the second layer is hard, sharp plastic that could easily injure an animal. Wish I hadn’t wasted my money.
