It's an okay plush but for anyone who's dog chews toys to bits I discourage this product. My dog shredded the fins which are full of a thin crinkly plastic for making noise. At least it lasted a few days though.
After purchasing the Kong Willie Whale and Kong Ollie Octopus.......we had to complete the family with the Sally Seahorse ! I love em.
I could not get my dog to play with this at all. He's not a fan of squeakers so that was not an issue. He just usually likes to gum them as he is 14 years old. Just took it from me and put it down.
He has Fox, now we have all
Within a couple of hours, my 12 pound dog had ripped it open. Was hoping that this toy would be tougher than others, but it was not a winner for us!
Best toy ever! Our dog loves the Krinkly fins mostly. We call it horsee! I wash it once or twice and dry it. After about 6 months or stuffing starts coming out, we replace with same one, different sizes. Some dogs might eat in one day!. Definitely for cuddles and bone hider types!
Only issue is the choking hazard from the plastic squeak ball, I wasnt aware there was one in this and i had to take it from her when she found it so i could cut it out so she wouldnt rip open the toy and eat it, we already had her swallow one of those before
These are the best toys and they last the longest for us
My 4mo corgi puppy had been chewing through toys while going through some teething stages. He seemed to like carrying things around that are the size of him, so I bought the Large size. As usual, we are not disappointed by this brand! It has withstood all chewing efforts and looks unscathed. This toy is one of the first he grabs out of the toy box on a daily basis. The fins crinkle, there are no tags to contend with out of the box, and the squeaker is a tolerable sound. Overall a great toy. I was skeptical about the size, but the large is a substantial toy for most breeds. We still have kong toys from young puppyhood that I am sure will last through adulthood. I am yet to be let down by KONG!
We have a destroyer dog. He loves toys so much but can rip them up in minutes. We bought this seahorse for him for Christmas and it has been amazing. It is tough and durable. Our dog loves to shake it around and chew on it, but still hasn't gotten the squeaker out yet. It has held up way longer than I expected. Worth the price!
