This brush is designed to reduce shedding and might not work as well for detangling.
what is the size difference between the large and the small? can you give measurements?

The puppy size (small) is 3.75 x 2.33 x 1.75 inches and the regular size (large) is 4.75 x 2.9 x 1.63 inches.
Would this work for a maltese? Looking for somthing that doesn't pull his hair?

This brush is great for small breeds like the Maltese. This breed does not shed much, but the brush can still can be used to style and stimulate hair growth.

I love this tool

I just purchased my 4th zoom groom. This thing works great on just about any kind of dog with any kind of hair--I use it on my beagle and on my german shepherd. It loosens the top coat and really reduces shedding without being abrasive on the dog's skin. My dogs seem to really enjoy the "scrubby" feel they get when we use it. I've bought 4 now because 2 have gone to other people for their dogs :)

Zoom Groom

I ordered this because a pet groomer that I highly respect suggested it. My 3 yr old pup, Chuwi, is a rescue terrier mix. I didn't think he shedded very much until I used this zoom groom on him. To my surprise, he LOVES me using it on him. As soon as I get it out, he jumps on my bed and starts sitting up and doing his happy dance. The first couple times I used it, it took out a lot of extra dead hair. But Chuwi loves me to use it on him every day. So now the shedding has lessened, but he still wants me to spend time grooming him. I think it must feel like a doggy massage. LOL I love this and encouraged my daughter to get one for her two dogs.

TikTok Recommended

I saw the Zoom Groom recommended by a groomer on TikTok. After not being satisfied with the results of the Furminator I had for a few years, I realized it may have never been the right tool for my dogs coat. Dog mom fail.. After our first time using the Zoom Groom, I knew I had found what we needed all along! It got so much loose hair off my boxer! This is the only tool we need!

Great for brushing or bathing!

We use this brush to bathe the dogs. It cleans them better and gets rid of more loose hair than anything else we have tried. They really seem to love it too. Seems to massage and rub their skin and they just sit there and take it. They all seem very happy with their bath times now. A friend saw this and said he just had to get one so we ordered him one too. He says his dog does better with this brush as well.

Does very little

Even when I press fairly hard it removes very little hair. I had seen this used on the girl with the dogs YouTube channel but I cannot get it to remove anywhere near the amount of hair she does. It may be operator error, but I find this not very effective.

pet grooming

I am a dog groomer and at our salons we use these for our short hair dogs and they work wonders! It doesn’t hurt your dog or anything, the amount of hair that comes off is amazing so I had to buy me a brush for at home grooming lol. I have a beagle and this is how much comes off of her after brushing a few times!!

Loved it until puppy got a hold of it.

Puppy loved when I brushed him with this, but once he got a hold of it and took off, he quickly ripped all the little rubber spikes off it within seconds. Only lasted us 3 days. Next time I'll be sure to leave it where he can't climb. lol

Great for short-haired dogs!

This comb is what we needed for my pitty. Regular brushes never really worked with her short hair, but this one does a great job of getting up those short hairs and dandruff. I recommend taking your pup outside to give them the rub-down since the hair will be flying off!

This brush is AWESOME!!!

I have a red boy Doberman that I show in conformation. This brush works so well getting his coat ready for shows. He hair tends to get sunburned and this brush works great for getting out the burned hair.
