KONG Dynos Plush Dog Toy

I was hoping that my dog would just take this toy everywhere she goes. Well, I don't think that will happen since this toy does not squeak any longer. There are two squeaky parts - head and stomach. They worked fine for the first few times, but then it stopped squeaking. There is nothing in toy's stomach part other than a squeaky thing. It is not very fluffy and soft. That was very disappointing... It is a cute toy but I was hoping a little better made toy based on "KONG" name. Chewy's customer service was great and I got a refund.

This dino is really super cute, and I typically love and trust Kong toys to be durable. I love my toys well, and very rarely destroy any since I just use them like a pacifier. Unfortunately, this dino has leathery sections that are too easy to tear once they are wet. The other material is great - wish it were made without the leathery stuff. Destroyed in a day. Can't recommend this unless it's used as an elf on the shelf.

I really want to love these Kong toys (the floppy bunny with the minimal stuffing and ropes/knots inside has been the longest lasting so far) but our dog destroys them within a matter of hours. If you have a dog that likes to cuddle and play gently, this is a great toy, but if your pup is a chewer, don’t bother. We’ve probably bought 6-7 different types of these toys - she loves playing with them but they just don’t last. The squeaker is usually extracted within a day.

Sorry but Kong I was really disappointed with this dog toy. It said for large dogs and normally their stuff holds up but our 93lb one year old chocolate lab had it ripped open and the squeaky ball out of it in less then 24 hour period. The fake leather on the front of the Dino was the weak spot and he tore it open from there. I would say a smaller dog yes it be okay for them but not larger breeds.

I ordered online from Chewy to send this adorable dinosaur to my niece-dog, and it was delivered clear across the country the NEXT DAY, in the week before Christmas! She has had nothing but fun with it--delighted from the get-go! I love seeing pictures and video--what a treat to watch that big sweet dog destroy, um--I mean, "play with" it. :)

My dog Danika (a 60 lb Labra-Aussi) does like to play with "Dino" so I gave it 4 stars for "playability". However, there are two squeeky balls in the toy, one in the head and one in its bottom. Within 10 minutes of playing with Dino, the squeeky ball in the bottom had died... no more squeeks... and squeeks are something she loves in her toys. So I can't give this toy 5 stars.

We bought this for our Pit/Pointer mix, and she destroyed it in a matter of a few hours. We saw that it’s for “light/moderate chewing,” but we didn’t think much of it since she’s had a few stuffed animals that were not even meant for dogs, as well as a few others for light chewers, and they lasted a while. But this one? Nope! She had the belly seam ripped open, squeaker out and crushed, and stuffing everywhere just hours after we gave it to her. And she wasn’t even chewing it! This was just from her tossing it around and playing. I would definitely not recommend this toy unless your pup basically doesn’t chew at all.

I wasn’t aware that only the head part of the toy was stuffed - that being said, my dog tore off the teeth, opened the seam, and ripped the stuffing out. I was able to flip the toy inside out, remove the stuffing, and give it back to him to still play with. Not the worst toy, but not the best from Kong.

Reviewing the Pteredactyl style, the brown fake leather fabric on the head and paws is so flimsy my dog had it all chewed up in less then 30 minutes, whereas other stuffed toys have lasted for months, some years. So I had to do surgery and remove the entire head and the paws. And of course he has no interest in the other parts now.

I am a lover of Kong toys because of their indestructible quality. I have a 13lb Italian greyhound. It took him 3 days to rip and eat this. I’m glad I got it out of his mouth before he swallowed the foot. Def not a good purchase
