Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off. Power Chewers may need to size up one or two sizes.

Our Labrador Retriever loves them and we have bought both medium and large sizes. The extreme survives her chewing much better than the regular Kong bones. We have bought them more than once and will definitely buy them again.
It is a great toy to keep my boy tucker entertained for a little while he has a short attention span so this bone works good for him he gets easily bored with his toys but plays well with bone when the treats r in it
Lasted about as long as the red. I fill with treats or chew sticks and she rips all that out and goes for the ridges in the holes. Once she hooks one, she then can pick it apart. I timed this and it was about 5 minutes when she began to eat the kong itself. Too bad, not extreme for a 50 pound lab.
Got this as a Christmas present for our pit bull. The dog used it normally, was not aggressive with it, and just used it as a chew toy. It already came apart and we had to throw in the trash. This is the second Kong product we bought as a gift, and neither lasted. Kong quality is not what it used to be!
This is the 2nd Kong toy my dog has destroyed in a month. He was just casually chewing. Pieces break off and causes him to throw up. The "extreme" is NOT worth it. Very disappointed, I thought Kong was a reputable brand. Hopefully I can find a toy that lasts more than 1 month!
My dog really likes to chew on this one which is sad because he ate through it in about 15-20 minutes. Maybe a little less because I didn’t time it. For almost $20 I was hoping for at least a full day before he broke it.
My 11 month old puppy Marty is a very extreme chewer. Kong is just about the only thing he has not destroyed. I occasionally give other brands a try but they just. Any hold up to the Kong.
Gave this bone to my 5 month old Pit Bullmastiff mix pup 6 weeks ago. It was much loved during its time with us but today met its unfortunate demise. Someday there will be a toy for a true power chewer. I hope.
I have learned to only buy Kong Extreme chew toys for my lab mix pup, but this bone is disintegrating much quicker than others. I'll stick to the tried and true ones from now on!
My lab Biwl loves his Kong bone. He walks around like a big shot with an attitude when he's playing with it. This bone is tough and indestructible. If Biwl can't break through it no doggie can. Thank you Chewy!
