Couldn't use
Too big for my cat, but took it to my vet so that someone else could use. Would not recommend for use with cats. Really didn't know it wouldn't fit until it was delivered.
Don't waste your money
Bought this for my cat that's under 10 pounds and should fit based on their description of their product. He's been over grooming to the point of tonguing his skin raw and bloody, primarily his hind quarters. This cone wouldn't even stop him from licking his missing balls much less allowing his skin damage to heal. That's not the cones only problem, the plastic is too firm for the velcro to hold on. I fruitlessly tried to slip his collar through the slits in it to try to secure it better but the slits are oriented awkwardly and with an unfortunate number of slits so I don't think this was their intended purpose but it left him even more uncomfortable than he needed to be. In the end we just decided to cut up an empty water jug and make cone of our own.
horrible for cats
I'm glad I bought a fancy one because this is going in the trash. The sticker bled and while it did fully come off the print from the sticker is tattooed onto the plastic, unable to come off. Additionally the velcro is too heavy for my cat to wear but easy enough for her to rip off, rendering this item USELESS.
Small needs lighter/flimsier plastic
I got the small cone for my adult cat who's lost some weight due to anxiety, which results in licking. He did this once previously and was uncomfortable with a medium cone as well. But this cone is so sturdy, if it gets caught on something just barely during movement will surly cause the velcro that's barely holding on the largest setting to rip off. We just got it and maybe I'll be able to update with a better review but I'm not holding out... Especially if I have to keep readjusting the latch as is.
Broke first day
I got the small for my cat. It fit well but the first night my cat attempted to scratch (of course) and tore the velcro strip so now it's broken and won't stay on. Waste of money for sure. They need to find a way to adhere the velcro with something stronger than sticky tape.
Best cone we could find for our small dog
We tried several cones and this one is the easiest to take off and on. The packaging however was just bad. This item is circular and has a natural curve. Whoever boxed the item, boxed it by turning it inside out. Getting back to its natural shape took some time. Why? Where is the common sense? Packaging is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.
Not for home use
This would be better you a short stay at the vet. Not comfortable. Didn't fit good.
Kong EZclear small collar
This item is EXTREMELY small. In loosest position doesn’t go around my car’s neck. Must be for very tiny kittens
Good Idea
Good idea but didn't work for my Boxer. He was really upset by the sound of the velcro being separated.

Our dog has a very long nose and this surgery cone worked great when he had to have a tail amputated.
