Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
So, it's our Dog's Birthday & I thought that I'd get her some new toys & specifically got Kong toys because she had acquired some older Kong toys a while back. They impressed be with their sturdy build & beefy squeaker that was harder for her to kill. She's a medium sized dog (Corgi, Beagle, Pit mix) & absolutely LOVED those toys. Sadly the toys she received, though nice especially since it's a cute rope toy, had the tiny squeakers that she normally kills or punctures in her enthusiastic way she plays; zooming through the house squeaking the toy the entire way. Especially when I'm on the phone... Next time, I guess I'll just get the cheaper toy with the same squeaker inside... Really sad about this...
Bunny has held up beautifully to our 5mnth old mastiffs teething and play time. We have the fox version and he loves it and as it was the only toy that has survived his jaws so we figured we’d give bunny a try and so far we are thrilled! Nice squeak to keep his attention the rope feels good on his gums while being strong to survive the chewing and tugging and it’s pretty cute too. All around a thumbs up!
This kept my 1 yr old pit bull pretty entertained even after she ripped it apart. Took her about a week. My only complaint is it didn’t squeak as much as I thought it would. Not sure if she just wasn’t biting on the right spot or she popped it.
We love the Kong Knots toys for our Mastiff/Boxer and Pitbull. They destroy anything in minutes but these typically last a little longer since they are left with the rope inside. However, the fabric on the tummy of the bunny shredded immediately. Would definitely recommend the fox or hippo before this one.
My dog is a super chewer,, so I thought this would be good. He still managed to tear through it . I wouldn't recommend for dogs that like to rip apart toys lol it does have a little stuffing and a squeaker inside. My dog will get those out one way or the other lol. It is very good quality just not for tough dogs!
I have two power chewer dogs who love to destroy toys about two minutes after receiving them. But they've had this one for about a week and it's still kicking! It's definitely torn up but all the limbs are still attached (even if just barely). That's nearly unheard of for these dogs. (My toddler also loves it XD). Would definitely recommend this toy.
Luna loves this bunny. We have one for outside and one for inside. She loves them so much that I keep several extra. They have taken some heavy abuse & still lasted a very long time.
My dog really loves this toy. He is a chewer. So this help him to get his chewing fix in and he can't destroy it 7 he also loves playing with this toy with the squeaky in it. Very safe toy for then to chew!
Very well made Perfect for my female 6 month old German Shepherd . Only thing it doesn’t have is a squeaky. Great price, and it lasts!
I got the fox and elephant version of this toy previously and those held up well over months before slowly being destroyed. I got this and within five minutes Barnaby had gotten through the ear. I think the fabric on the ear needs to be reinforced because it's much too weak and too big of a temptation. Other than that, my dog loved it, but it's one of the toys I'm going to need to monitor carefully so he doesn't eat it.
