KONG Holiday Floppy Knots Elf Dog Toy, Medium
While my 4YO lab pit mix isn’t a fixated chewer, he does play pretty rough. He likes to grab toys and pin them down with his front paws and then try to rip the toy up to break the squeaker. We have had this for a week now, and I’ve even left him alone with it and it’s still completely in tact. I cut the tag off before giving it to him, and I’m completely satisfied with the construction of the all-rope body for durability. I think he’s even learning how to play tug of war and enjoying it (he is a rescue from a bad situation). Love this one and will be on the look out for more! Please make more holiday/seasonal ones!
So upset! This toy seemed like it was going to work for my pup. Boy, was I ever wrong! Kong has such a FANTASTIC reputation for durable dog toys - not this one. My pup was able to chew through the hands and unravel all of the threads. He did not have this toy for very long - 5-6 minutes before it was destroyed - a pile of green, red and white string! :( Looking for DURABLE plush toys for my golden retriever pup
My dog likes to tear rope toys apart-having the rope inside the toy and knotted at the hands and feet (no loose ends for her) means she can’t get the rope loose to chew and eat it and just wants to play tug with the toy-which is sturdy enough to do.
