I got this for my cats. It does interest them, but the hole is very large and the treats just pour out. They do bat it about a bit, but I was looking for something that would interest them to play and offer rewards over time. 4 stars because they DO play some, but I did not buy it as a simple toy. I bought it to dispense treats.
The opening for the food to dispense is too big and most of it comes out with one push. I put a cat spring toy inside to make it more challenging. I also have Doc & Phoebe's dispenser to compare it to. Doc & Phoebe's has an adjustable opening so you can set it based on the size of kibble. I wish the hole size was adjustable.
I found this at Chewy.com when I was looking for things to keep cats occupied. The toy os made to put cat treats in, and the cats have to manipulate it to get the treats out. They love it!
My kitty loves to find treats with this toy. The toy is easy enough for my cat to figure out but also keeps him entertained.
This buys me a bit of time when it's too early for dinner, yet they tolerate it enough to get the food out, but it's about 2 minutes. I don't know any cat kibble that is big enough it won't just fall out quickly. Rolls well, easy to fill. Might be great for some cats.
Boy, is this a fun toy/treat machine! I bought the KONG Infused Cat Gyro Cat Toy for a change from their other puzzle time treat dispenser. It would work with kibble, too. Highly Recommended.
My 16 year old cat has rediscovered the joy of playing!! The vet said he needed to move around more. Since I started putting a few treats in this thing, he loves push it around and asks for more. I had to limit our fun time to twice a day so he would stop begging all day long. Since then he also has renewed playing with some old favorites!
Took awhile for my cat to figure out but once he did, he looks forward to getting his treats with this. It's a great enrichment toy!
really like the design, bought a few different cat treat toys to entertain my 3 cats. This is the only one that empty in the first 30 sec - every time. even put in on the floor you will notice a few treats dropped out already. The Dispenser hole is extremely big my WHOLE index finger can fit in. yes up to the ring if you wore one. a bit disappointed but if your cat dont have the patience this is the best toy for them
Both my cats did not play with this. Does not roll easy
