What size battery does it require?

The KONG Laser Cat Toy takes button cell LR44 batteries. They are included with the toy and also pretty easy to replace down the road.
Which way do the batteries go in a Kong laser pointer for cats

The silver button will need to be pressed to activate the laser toy.
How do I open the battery compartment??

The battery compartment can be found on the back of this laser cat toy. The battery door should slide down with the use of your thumb to open, by applying some pressure and sliding it off. We do suggest holding it vertically when doing so, as otherwise the keychain can get in the way.

Poor design

I had one these toys before and my cats loved chasing the laser, so I thought maybe I should get one again… but there is absolutely impossible to open the little cover to get the battery in. Impossible! Unless I can just use some sharp tools to break it and I would rather give up. Sigh..

Yes, it's a success!

I lost the original laser toy I had so decided to get this one. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it works perfectly. My two cats love laser lights and I feel this is a great way to exercise two older kitties (they're 12). All is well...!

MY DOG LOVES THIS!

My dog absolutely loves this thing! This has easily become our favorite toy. Hours of fun times where our slightly chunky boy can exercise and have a great time. Majorly cheap and awesome for the amount of fun we get out of it.

Tudy Cat Approved!

Tudy wonders what took us so long to buy this fun fantastic toy. Good exercise as the long reaching beams flow around the room(s). She will even play with the “jingle” of the clasps; knocking it off counters feline-style. Our dogs will even get into the game. Easy to hold and use.
