Doesn’t hold up to a lab
I gave to my small dog because it has a squeaker. But my lab picked it up and immediately chewed where the squeaker is located and some dangerous stuffing came out (I didn’t think Kong would have used cheap stuffing like that!). I’ll have to throw it away.
Not tear resistant
Unfortunately, it took my Shepard less than 15 minutes to chew it open and then, stuffing everywhere! I can see the quality in the material, just did not work for my pup
Not So Tough
Ahh, I wanted so much to believe that my 18 month, tough chewer Yorkie wouldn't be able to bite through kevlar ... this is the third Kong tough toy of this type he's managed to destroy. This one took a little longer than the "bone" and "star" but they are too expensive to keep replacing every two weeks ...
Tears easily
My dog tore this in mins and stuffing went everywhere as he pulled it put. Very disappointing as I was hoping to use as a good tug toy.
Please do not purchase this
I was dissatisfied with this product, my dog chewed it to shreds in * 9* minutes!!! ( yes you read that correctly) very misleading product description and not kong quality. Please remove this item for purchase
Didn't even last 5 minutes
I bought it thinking it might hold up better as it says it's a tear resistant toy... my Rocco had it torn open within minutes of me given it to him. Not worth the money I spent on it.
Well that was fun while it lasted…
We have a 1 year old German shepherd who loves to chew. I knew this wouldn’t last too long but he shredded it within 15 minutes… I really expected more from Kong. I watched as he played and he wasn’t overly aggressive (although he can be), his teeth literally just went through the fabric… tear resistant??? So, not a recommendation from us.
Great for chewers
We had originally bought 3 plush Kong stuffies and our new little girl chewed holes in them in 3 days. We then bought the Kong tearless stuffies and they are holding up great!!!! Love all 3 of the new toys we got her.
Not worth the price
I am really disappointed in this product for the price. My 63lb, 11mth old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix likes to shred any plush toys she gets. I thought this would hold up better, but it didn't really. It arrived yesterday afternoon, and by noon today, she has ripped open one side. She loves carrying it around in her mouth, so that is a plus, but the toy is full to the seams with stuffing, so once she ripped it open, stuffing is everywhere. For anyone interested in it for the squeaker, the "squeaker" is a pretty small one in the middle, so she hasn't been squeaking it as much as she does with her other toys. I understand it is tear/puncture "resistant," but for the price, I expected better.
Not-so-tear-resistant
My dog had this torn in pieces in less than 30 minutes. He’s definitely a super chewer but kong usually lasts at least a day. The reason I only gave 3 stars is because it had a tiny tag and stuffing. The tags drive him insane and he picks at them which usually is the first rip. But I was shocked to find a ton of stuffing inside. I was worried about choking.
