Durable toy
By Radley on Mar 21, 2021
This has held up against my very heavy chewer 10month pit. She destroys everything, but this only has a few teeth marks in it! She’s 44lbs, and I bought the medium, when she’s bigger I will be buying the large size too.

The only toy that has survived Scout
By DawnBirder on Jan 18, 2021
Scouty is a 75-pound mixed breed that looks like a mountain cur. He eats toys made of rope and plastic, and even toys that are designed for intense chewing by strong jaws become dangerously sharp —and we fear he’ll swallow them. He swallowed a big, fat rope toy, and after several days of discomfort, threw it up, thank god. But this toy takes lasts several months before he breaks it in half, and he has been unable to bite or break pieces off of it. I’m about to purchase his third one. We can play tug-of-war with it to Scout’s heart’s content, and sometimes he takes it to bed with him.

Pretty Good
By JMox on Feb 8, 2021
Kong probably makes the best toys for extreme chewers. The curve is a nice feature when playing with your dog. I gave this toy 4/5 only because my dog still can chew tiny bits off of the round knobby ends if I'm not looking. But overall this toy seems very durable.

Not very Kong tough
By Sierra on Mar 16, 2021
After giving the toy to my Airedale, this is how it looks after 4 hours! It didn’t hold up very well! A little disappointed.

Wrecked in a day
By Sueb on Jan 28, 2021
My lab/pit mix had this in pieces within 24 hours. Started swallowing the parts so had to take it away. Before that, it was too slimy to play tug with him but he did enjoy chewing it apart. Just not very safe and not at all durable.

Had to throw away after 3 minutes
By AnyasMom on Jan 26, 2021
I buy Kong products often for my two English Mastiffs. They were biting pieces off this toy right away. It's a bummer because they were pretty excited to get a new toy. I'll be looking for something more durable once again.

Room for two
By Tammi on Feb 14, 2021
We have two german shepherds and they both have to share the you for fetch. This stick allows me to grab it from them in the middle, so all three of us love it!

Not for tough chewers
By Comfy on Dec 26, 2020
I had such high hopes for the two sticks I purchased. My dogs absolutely loved them but they began to tear apart within the hour. The Kong tire is the ONLY toy they’ve managed to not destroy. They loved these sticks until I had to take them away.

Good but heavy!
By SofiesMom on Feb 15, 2021
My goodness, this thing is heavy for a pup! As hilarious as that is, it’s probably going to get more play in another few months.

Great Toy for Retrievers!
By Nancy1234 on Dec 12, 2020
Our retriever boys love this toy! It is a softer toy and somewhat flexible. They love to run with it - it wobbles a bit, creating a little action for them. They play tug with it occasionally. After a month of fairly steady use, it is intact with no bite marks.
