Good quality
As usual kong makes good toys. I found this to be very sturdy, though the strings on the umbrella come apart a bit easy. My kitten just loves this scratching post!
Not well made
The screw that holds everything together sticks out farther than the feet making it wobbly and it scratched my hardwood floors. The tiny strings that hang on it come off and I'm afraid my cats are going to eat them and choke. Got a refund which I'm grateful for but I'm afraid to even donate the thing to a shelter.
Best gift for my cat so far!
The catbana just arrived today and I just set it up. The product is good quality and my cat is already having a blast with it!

Cute post for cats
Got this hoping it’d be used by my cats and they like it a lot. They use it as a scratcher and sit on top and play with the ball and dolphin. It’s great. It’s cute too! Probably not great for huge cats but my big boy loves it he doesn’t sit on it though. He loves playing with it. Super easy to assemble.
Good design, poor craftsmanship, awful materials
Overall I like this, and my kitties do too. The concept is great, the design is good. One cat can play on the bottom with a toy and another cat can play on top. Things I don't like about it are: the rope that winds around the base. It has little threads sticking out that my cat started eating within 30 seconds of completion. Even more concerning were the stables I had to hammer in because they were sticking out. I was worried they would damage my kitty. Lastly, the materials for the strings that hang down are really thin. You can see my kitty already chewed through a couple. I like this product and I'm glad I bought it but those are just a few negatives among the positives.
My cats LOVE this!
My cats, of a variety of ages, took to this catbana right away! There's many elements that they love: the top part where they can sit, the fringe to play with, the scratching post, the toys connected to it, and even the base! My Lizzie loves to sit at the base underneath the fringe! And sometimes they turn it over but they play with it that way too! Very smart make for cat toys/furniture! More cat things need to be made like this!
My Bunny loves this
I got this for my bunny. She loves it! The first thing she did was tore off the beach ball toy and carried it into her cat tunnel. She came back and investigated it chinning it, and marking it as hers. Hopping up on top so she can survey her surroundings has become her favorite. She has dug a little around the bottom and on the post itself. It goes perfectly with her shark bed.
I don't know how anyone can manufacture a worse item.
Not sturdy, strings were shredded, not very sturdy, worth about $6.

I was a little skeptical of this but I took a chance since it’s made by Kong. Their stuff is always high quality. I’m so glad I bought this. All my cats love it. They lay on top of it, chew on the strings, use the scratcher. Big cats and small cats alike enjoy this toy. I am thinking about getting another one.
