    Even though this is made for puppy teeth & puppy teething, there must be something about it, because I’ve had several aggressive chewers from puppies into adulthood share this very same toy! Either it’s because it’s made by Kong or they simply love it so much they don’t want to destroy it, it has lasted Even though this is made for puppy teeth & puppy teething, there must be something about it, because I’ve had several aggressive chewers from puppies into adulthood share this very same toy! Either it’s because it’s made by Kong or they simply love it so much they don’t want to destroy it, it has lasted through several German Shepherds (pups AND adult dogs) Labs and Goldens. And it is just too cute to see this sticking out of their mouths. They love this even when it isn’t stuffed. (It was years before I realized it was supposed to be stuffed like a regular Kong, duh!) … more

    Puppy Don't Care

    After buying this toy (as well as the "standard-looking" Kong puppy toy), we have discovered that our GSD puppy (who is nearly 6 months old, but has had this toy since around 9 weeks) is not particularly interested in these Kong toys. She will enjoy getting certain treats out of them (e.g. chicken jerky After buying this toy (as well as the "standard-looking" Kong puppy toy), we have discovered that our GSD puppy (who is nearly 6 months old, but has had this toy since around 9 weeks) is not particularly interested in these Kong toys. She will enjoy getting certain treats out of them (e.g. chicken jerky) but otherwise leaves them alone and prefers to chew on her other toys (stuffed animals or chews) or our walls/furniture. I had a GSD in the past who carried around the black Kong like a pacifier, so was hoping for the same from our current GSD. Unfortunately no such luck. … more
