KONG Puppy Chew Dog Toy

SIZE XTRA SMALL - IS TINY - PLEASE READ

This reviews is NOT About the quality of the product. it is a SIZE Reference. We Bought this in Xtra Small not realizing it's TOOO Small. Dangerously Too Small. Just for anyone with a Mid Sized Breed Puppy. This TOY is TINY. TOO Small for our 12 Week old 13 Pound English Springer. She would of choked on it. It's about the Length of a Credit card and Width is even smaller. This is probably good if you have a TINY Dog Breed like a Maltese or Bichon but Even for our Medium English Springer it would be WAY TOO Small. Just be aware.

Kongs just aren’t my thing

I have tried to do the frozen Kong thing with my last 3 dogs and just fail at it. I am allergic to nuts so I can’t use any peanut butter which seems to be the best texture for these. I used baby food, plain Greek yogurt, chicken broth, wet food etc but my dog loses interest after she gets 1/3 through since she can’t reach the rest. I’ve never understood why kongs are shaped so you can’t thoroughly clean them either.

Kong toys are great

I gave this five stars because I've used Kong toys in the past. I actually had bought this before I received my German Shepherd puppy, but as I visited my puppy over the last four weeks, I realized that this would be too small for her eight week old mouth. I didn't want there to be a choking hazard. So while I didn't use this, I'm going to be getting a larger size for her to play with and chew on. My son is going to be getting a Shih-Tzu puppy in the Spring, so he will give this to her when he gets her. I'd absolutely recommend this Kong product.

My puppy loves this Kong toy with the Kong treats inside. It keeps him busy for quite a while. I like to give it to him as we leave for work in the morning so that he doesn't notice that we are gone.

Love these fillable Kongs

Purchased another for our new puppy. We fill these with different treats and freeze. In the evening when we want to settle down we will take these out for them. Easy to clean. Will definitely be purchasing more.

Sturdy, but hasn't proved interesting

She hasn't taken to this one. I think it's because I bought a few toys that were more interesting to her. It is strong and good quality. It doesn't break apart even when heavily chewed.

Perfect size for small dogs

Our pups are 6-8 lbs and these are the perfect size for them. A nice way to keep them entertained for a while and easy to clean w hot soapy water and a sprayer.

Puppy pb kong

This is definitely the smallest kong I've purchased. I've gotten large and extra large for my adult boxers. This one I got for our new puppy. It's the right size but funny how small it is. I got a medium to size up in a month or 2. He loves it with pb just like his big sister.

Perfect puppy gift

I sent this for my brother’s new puppy. It’s the perfect size and gift for a teething puppy. Great choice. Very durable.

First time

I'm on my fourth Westie, and I didn’t know what to expect, but she loves this toy with some square Wellness treats, or canned treats. It keeps her busy in her Kennel. I have to push the treat in farther as she figures it out while she grows, but she loves it!
