Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
The KONG Classic is a great next step for a puppy that is ready to graduate. KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

We LOVE this Kong for our pitty puppy! she literally chews on this all the time. There's little puppy teeth holes all over it from her gnawing. At first, i just let her chew on the Kong itself then i discovered the treats to go inside it. Her whole world changed when she saw it had food in it. She carries it around a lot and it keeps her occupied chewing it instead of our other dog's ears and lips.
Perfect to keep our doggie busy!
on Feb 2, 2020
Kong toys are amazing to help keep our doggie busy! We have 2 of these so we could fill one up with yogurt/peanut butter/ food and freeze it while she plays with the other.
We are trying to get our rescue dog to learn to play with toys, so this kong toy has been really helpful in building her toy motivation. We usually put part of her food in the toy and she will be content trying to get her food out for 20-30mins!
Kairi’s Favorite Toy
on Feb 19, 2020
I thought this simple toy is way too expensive. But I decided to buy one for Kairi. I ended up buying 3 of them. This is more fun than the expensive dog puzzle. I stuff them with homemade chicken cookies, and Kairi would toss them in the air to get the treats out.

This even stands up to grown dogs! Even though this is made for puppy teeth & puppy teething, there must be something about it, because I’ve had several aggressive chewers from puppies into adulthood share this very same toy! Either it’s because it’s made by Kong or they simply love it so much they don’t want to destroy it, it has lasted through several German Shepherds (pups AND adult dogs) Labs and Goldens. Stuff it then freeze it so the fun lasts longer :)
Keeping the Piranha Busy
on Jan 24, 2020
I have seen the Kong products for a while and never knew how distracting they could be. Our puppy recently had pneumonia and had to be nebulized 3 times a day. This little Kong kept him busy every time so he could be a good patient. His little chompers really pack a punch and I’m thankful the Kong gives him some sturdy and entertaining. I’ll be purchasing more as he gets older for sure!
X-Small: tiny but mighty!
on Jan 1, 2020
My little 12lb pup is a big chewer and is easily bored so I’m always looking for new ways to keep him entertained. Finally decided on an x-small Kong so I could fill it with peanut butter and freeze it for some fun playtime. When it came I was a bit surprised because it really was teeny tiny! Perfect size for my little guy though, and practically indestructible. This little sucker fell down into my sink one day while I was cleaning it, and I unknowingly ran the garbage disposal with it still down there. Not a single mark on it! Kong really is a great brand!
Great Toy for my Boy
on Feb 11, 2020
Mylo, my little Maltipoo, just loves this toy. It is virtually indestructible. It provides my pup with hours of fun. He tosses it in the air and chases is it as it bounces around the room. He also loves us to throw it for him.
he loves it

Got this today and my boyfriend was saying this is something to help him calm down for bed or to help him calm down when we go to work because we are still crate training. So along with the new crate I got today I stuck this through the door and I haven’t heard a peep for him since. I think working for the food tires him out so he doesn’t have the energy to make a scene about being in his crate
Teething Puppy isn't interested
on Dec 25, 2019
After buying this toy (as well as the Kong puppy pacifier) we have discovered that our GSD puppy (nearly 6 months old now, but has had this toy since around 9 weeks) is not particularly interested in Kong toys, she will enjoy getting certain treats out of them but otherwise leaves them alone and prefers to chew on her other toys (stuffed animals or chews) or our walls/furniture. I had a GSD in the past who carried around the black Kong like a pacifier, so was hoping for the same from our current GSD. Unfortunately no luck.
Great for crate training

We put peanut butter in this and give it to our puppy when he goes into his crate. Keeps him occupied while he settles down. He also loves to play and chew on his Kong outside the crate. Very durable-even for heavy chewer.
