Too small for 9 week old German Shepherd.
By ShannyD on Feb 17, 2021
I have a 9 weeks old female GSD. I purchased this for her thinking this would last at least a month. Sadly, it’s going to my 12 year old Maltese, Scott. This is the perfect size for him and will keep him interested in something. But, this is far too small for my GSD puppy and will probably just get the big kid one for her. That’s the only reason I removed a star. Just too small for some puppies. And to be perfectly honest, I probably didn’t realize my girl was that big. The toy is well constructed, she had a lot of fun kicking it around and trying to get the little treat out of it for a little while, but just lost interested quickly because of its super small size.

Keeps Pup Busy, Easy to Clean, Fun to Play, Durable
By Sara on Feb 23, 2021
I wish I could take my 6 month old Chowski anywhere and everywhere with me but that's not realistic. This product was recommended to me to keep her busy while I was away. I mix a bit of peanut butter and her food and stuff the Kong before I go. I haven't come home to a mess since. I like how easy it is to clean as long has I don't stuff it too tight. She loves how it bounces like crazy. We have to watch for dishes and the tv sometimes when we throw it in the house. A nickname I have for our pup is "The Strong Jaw" (Coloradans will get it) and she hasn't begun to make a dent in the durable yet soft rubber in the month we've had it.

He loves this toy!!!
By Bama on Feb 21, 2021
My puppy is a 5lb Pom and he loves this toy. He loves it even more when I add creamy peanut butter lol. It is the perfect size for him and his teeth. If your dog is going to be a bigger breed, start off with a bigger Kong than the smallest ones. These teeny ones can be very easy for the bigger breed puppies to swallow. You also want to watch them when they first start playing with these and any new toys to be sure they are safe. I never leave mine with any toys alone, just in case. Always be mindful of what your furbabies are doing when they are especially puppies. He is going to stay tiny so he will always have this one.

Can't imagine what extra small is - Thimble size?
By MrsHudy on Feb 11, 2021
Ordered small. Assuming this would be good for our 17# puppy. (Knowing I would have to go up in size as she grew) This is WAY TOO small. I cant imagine what extra small size is - The size of a Thimble? There is no size listed in the description but I measured it and SMALL is: only 3 (yes THREE) inches total. Very disappointed. **Chewy needs to list the size of the items in the description - When people are ordering online without actually seeing it - They deserve to know **

Entertains my yorkie
By OlliesMom on Jan 25, 2021
Our 12 week old yorkie loves this Kong. It’s softer rubber than the regular kongs so he can pick it up with his tiny teeth, yet it’s very durable and stands up to his heavy chewing. We bought the filling to fill it but he likes it even without that. It bounces a little when you throw it on the ground and Ollie loves chasing after it and watching it roll around. I was concerned because it says it comes in a random color, but we had completed the section in our profile on our pet, and whoever pulled our order must have checked that because they sent us a blue Kong! Would definitely recommend this for anyone with a small puppy, with baby teeth.

Nice, She won’t touch it
By azyorkiemom on Feb 14, 2021
Well made Kong product . My friends dog has one loves to play with for hours. Ordered for my girl. Filled with her favorite treats multiple times. She won’t touch it. It’s perfect size for her. My friends much larger yorkie gives his a hard workout. My friends dogs toy has held up well.Even with rough use. As you can expect from Kong. So it’s Just my silly girl.

It’s okay but not great
By Matt on Feb 17, 2021
Our pup loves to bite on it , which is great....but, her treats just fall out. I thought the hole at the bottom would be smaller to make it more challenging to get treats out. If there was a way to close the hole up a little more the instructions were very clear if that’s something you had to get separately or not.

Lasted one day
By Momofpups on Feb 13, 2021
It broke after one day. Granted, our dog is beyond the puppy stage and the toy was smaller than should have been purchased but the toy is soft for a puppy with stronger jaws. It is much softer than some of the other dog Kong toys. I did not ask for a refund and have purchased a small dog Kong. I expect this one to last longer.

For crate training it's the best
By Perfectbratgirl94 on Feb 14, 2021
I bought this with the Kong Stuff'N Easy Treat Puppy Recipe and wanted to use it for crate training (he is a nervous licker). It is wonderful and he knows that when he gets this it is bedtime and when he is done he is usually to tired to care that he is in the crate and falls asleep without a fight.

Did not last
By Sparky on Feb 25, 2021
My 8 pound puppy chewed the top of this off the first time I gave it to her. This is not a durable chew toy. I gave it one star because I had to rate it before submitting. I would not recommend this for anyone.
