Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
The KONG Classic is a great next step for a puppy that is ready to graduate. KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

I just brought home my 8 week old king charles cavalier and so far this kong size has been perfect. It is recommended we size up as she gets older but for now it is great. It is the only way she definitely finishes a meal as she gets bored eating and I just fill her kibble in here when she gets bored and she can play while eating. It's great. Definitely recommend for a smaller puppy.
Perfect for my pup!
on Dec 22, 2021
This tiny Kong toy is perfect for my seven week old Chihuahua puppy. His teeth are so sharp but it doesn't faze it at all. My pup doesn't care what color his toys are because he is too young to care about gender so pink is just fine! He hates to be left alone, even for a few minutes so I plan to follow one reviewer who said to use it (filled) in the crate. The size will be fine for a small Chihuahua when is an adult also I think but if he were any larger breed, this size is just too tiny.
Teeny Tiny KONG
on Jan 11, 2022
This KONG is teeny tiny. We bought it for our golden retriever puppies and it is way too small for them even at 7 weeks old. We'll still let them play with it for now as the quality is still magnificent, as expected from KONG, but we did end up purchasing a Medium for them as well.

While I appreciate the quality of this item the size small is in reality much smaller than I thought it would be. This is suitable for the smallest of small dogs. Too small for my 9 lb Corgi pup, but I will reorder in a larger size.

These are only good if you want to give to your cat. I ordered x-small I should of gotten a small or medium, I like to give to my dog Eddie Spaghetti when I run out I put peanut butter in there. Really tiny that my dog could swallow it....
Great for crate time
on Nov 28, 2021
We use this primarily when we need to leave puppy in the crate. I fill it with a bit of his food and seal with peanut butter. Gives him something to do while having alone time. He will play with it even when empty. Tough and durable for dachshund puppy who is a strong chewer. Easy to wash off any remaining residue when puppy has emptied it.
Only thing I would change is lack of color choice. Our male puppy has 2 out of 3 pink toys.
Great Mind Game
on Dec 1, 2021
This Kong is great for puppies and so fun that my little girl (Wheaten Terrier) likes to play with it even when it is empty. It is great for putting stuff in and is even better if you freeze kibble in with a little water or peanut butter, (so it will freeze). Kept her quiet in the crate and she loves to roll it and bounce it around to get the stuff out.
Check your puppy’s expected growth first

The first one we purchased was only usable for about two weeks because our puppy outgrew it. However, after doing proper homework, the replacement one is lasting and is worth the money. It entertains our puppy and has helped with some training too.
Chew Toy Tore Up
on Jan 21, 2022
Daisy had 2 of these toys and had both tore apart in less than 2 hours, maybe a good toy for a yorkie or miniature poodle but not for a 45 pd terrier.

I had left her small Kong outside and it was covered with leaves so I couldn't find it. Well, I went ahead and using my tractor began chewing (!) up the leaves. I heard a clunk and realized I had run over the Kong. It was spit out with the leaves and I was able to see it later.
However, there was not a scratch or cut on it - only grass stains! My congratulations for a truly tough toy.
