Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
The KONG Classic is a great next step for a puppy that is ready to graduate. KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

Kong makes great products, and this one is one of the best! It provides great mental stimulation for my two month old Dalmatian. She has a ton of fun figuring out how to get the treats out, and loves dropping it against the floor to loosen the pieces! She loves to chew and this is a great way to redirect her! The material isn’t too firm to be discouraging and sturdy enough to take a gnawing! 10/10! I would recommend this product to everyone with a dog!
Jessica likes her new Kong
on Dec 1, 2020
My 11 YO Bichon Frise rescue, Jessica (like Pierre) is a rescue who never learned how to play or be personal with her humans. I purchased this Kong looking at size and color, not realizing it is for a puppy and shouldn’t be used on an adult dog. The materials sound the same and she’s gentle with her Kong, but I’m watching her closely to make sure there’s no problem with her having the Kong. I may order another senior small Kong, just to be sure...
my puppy loves it
on Nov 5, 2020
I purchased one for my puppy, as everyone knows puppies are huge chewers. She loves taking the kong around the apartment and tossing it in the air for herself trying to get the treats out, however the hole is quite small and it is a little too difficult to get the treats/peanut butter out. A lot of times I reward her for playing with it by squeezing a little out for her. Other than that it lives up to Kong quality expectations, it is durable and doesn’t show any wear and tear after about a month of having the product.
Holding It's Own

Adopted what was supposed to be a 4 yr old Sr...NOT....and she was chewing everything in sight. Got this and filled w/ tasty treat and she was occupied for a good while. While I watched her try to destroy it, she gave up. I am sure if I left it to her to continue to chew on it, she would eventually succeed. I am hoping she will grow out of this chewing phase first. Good tuff toy to wear a chewer out for a while.
Baby Berner loves this toy!

We got this Kong for our Berner puppy. I slice baby carrots and stuff them inside... he rolls this and carrots go flying. It is like Christmas for him every time! Next time I'll try peanut butter. We try not to use anything artificial, so the kong spray can of treat is not an option for us, but you can definitely fill this thing with anything your dog will eat.
Too Small for 8-Week Old Golden
on Nov 1, 2020
I love the Kong brand, and all my dogs growing up have always loved them. So when we got our golden puppy we bought a couple of the puppy sized kongs, but the hole is too small for our puppy to really squeeze her tongue in to get any peanut butter out. She loves puzzle food toys, and peanut butter, but the puppy kong just frustrates her to no end. I imagine they're great for smaller puppies, but for medium-large breed puppies, I definitely recommend the Kong Puppy Tire instead - much more "accessible" and still a great puzzle for crate time :)

all 3 of my dogs love this toy. i bought 2 of them. they are very strong. finally i found a toy that is lasting. when it bounces, they chase it everywhere. it is hard for them to get their mouth around it which is a challenge for them. they do not get bored with it so easy.
Easy to use, puppy loves it

This is very easy to stuff and to clean, and has stood up great so far to our corgi puppy that loves to chew. We fill is with one of the ziggie sticks and frozen peas and carrots, and he always gets SO excited when he sees it come out of the freezer. This was great for teething and helps keep him occupied when he needs a quiet outlet for his energy.
Kongs are great
on Nov 3, 2020
Anyone with a dog needs a Kong. My only recommendation is to buy the larger one right away if your dog is going to grow larger. Puppys grow fast so they will outgrow the smaller size fast. We freeze it with a little peanut butter and some treats and it keeps her occupied during meetings and in her crate.
Perfect for Teething Puppy
on Oct 7, 2020
My large breed puppy (2.5 - 3 months, 20 lbs) loves this Kong. We will probably have to get a larger sized one soon because she is going to grow out of it in a few months, but right now it is perfect. She loves when I put some peanut butter in it and then freeze the whole thing-- chewing on the cold rubber and getting the peanut butter out seems to be double the fun.
