Dogs Need to Play
A dog's physical and mental development are influenced by a healthy, instinctual need to play. Built for durability, KONG dog toys encourage play and offer enrichment, meeting this natural need to play.
The KONG Classic is a great next step for a puppy that is ready to graduate. KONG encourages dogs to focus energy on healthy engagement, helping prevent unwanted behavior by providing a mentally stimulating, physical challenge that keeps dogs occupied and mentally challenged.
Did you know that anything that is safe for a dog to eat is safe to stuff into a KONG? Here's how:
Stuff: Stuff loosely for beginners or tighter for more advanced users (w/KONG Snacks or your dog's favorite kibble).
Entice: Use a tasty appetizer such as KONG Easy Treat or peanut butter.
Enrich: A stuffed KONG offers mental and physical enrichment.
Extend: Want to extend playtime? Freeze for a longer-lasting challenge.

This is VERY tiny. I have one dog who doesn't like the concept of the Kong, and one who does, so there's a 50% chance of success :) [If you don't have an aggressive or enthusiastic chewer, I've had the best success with the bone-shaped Kong that you stuff the ends; it makes the treats more obvious.] My biggest complaint with Kongs are the strong rubber smell. My little girl's face smells of rubber every time she chews and I don't think that is good for her! It makes me worried that it will aggravate her tendency to tear stains. I've tried washing in VERY hot water with dishsoap and the smell won't go away. I've had family across the room watching tv complain of the rubber smell. On the plus sideThis is VERY tiny. On the plus side, this seems indestructible for a toy breed. This is my go-to for a quick distraction when I need some peace--stuff with cheddar cheese bits and you don't have to worry about them choking on a rawhide or bully stick.… more
Perfect size for puppies

I first got one of these Kong Toys 3 1/2 years ago when I was crate training my now almost 4 year old chocolate Lab. Every night when Riley went into his crate for the night he was given his Kong Toy filled with creamy peanut butter. He never got his Kong Toy at any other time except when he went to bed in his crate. Cleaning the peanut butter out of his Kong occupied him so that he did not whine or bark because he was locked in his crate. The Kong Toy I bought 3 1/2 years ago is still in almost perfect condition even though Riley is a super extreme chewer. I am looking forward to using this new Kong Toy for my new yellow Lab puppy when she goes to bed at night.
A great way to combine play n treat time.

I like how the Kong products have your dog work a little for the treat instead of just gobbling it up in seconds or inhaling the treat whole. It gives them a challenge and can enjoy the treat just a little bit longer plus it is a pretty cool ball. Bounces nicely around the yard but would recommend it to be an outside toy so nothing is broke.
Great Chew Toy

I have a pit bull she's about a year old and this is one if her favorite toys. I would recommend getting an extra large though if you have a pitbull because she bit off the top circle. I've reorder this toy in different sizes as she got older. Highly recommend. Great fit teething. And great to keep her busy if I put a treat inside.
these are fun to use

I originally had purchased an xsmall kong for my Boston terrier when she was smaller, she's almost 4 months now and weighs 10lbs so I had to upgrade to a large kong you can see the size comparison on a xsmall vs large, both times I received that baby blue color, they send a random color. I will be using the large one to help her slow down eating her food, you can just fill with dog kibble and top off the hole with peanut butter, cream cheese or spray kong cheese to hold in the food it keeps your dog busy for a while.

We bought this for our new puppy bc we thought it would help entertain her in her crate. She does not really seem to car that much about it but it made really well and seems like a good value for the price. On a side note you get what you get for the color and my children were very upset that our girl puppy got a blue one, when they had picked out pink.
Not our Puppy's Favorite

I can't tell you why but our both our guys totally ignores this. They love the Binky and carry it around, chase it, and have in in their kennels, but have no interest in this. We use the same treats in both so I'm stumped. I'm going to put it away and see if they have some interest in the future.

Well, most everyone who knows anything about dogs can recognize this classic toy. Puppy size for my pint-sized pup works wonderfully. I like to put it in the freezer with peanut butter so she has a while to play with it when I leave. She'll even grab it out of her kennel to play with it when it doesn't even have treats in it! I highly recommend you buy this for your pup.
Good for young pup

It is softer than the regular KONG yet very durable. Good for pups up to 9 months. I recommend getting a little larger one: I found that the large (30-65 lbs) was easier for my 22 pound pup to scoop out ingredients with her tongue. I give her one at night when going into her kennel and I put some almond butter along the inside rim. She runs into her kennel and then settles down for the night.
Really good toy

I accidentally ordered this instead of the extreme chewer KONG for my adult dog so it barely even lasted ten minutes whole, but even though she chewed a section out of it she still loves to throw it around and play with it. No issues with the product, just got the wrong version lol.
