Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off. Intended for outdoor use only. Use in an open area free of obstacles that could pose a danger to your dog. KONG Flyer is not intended to be used as a chew toy.
I accidentally purchased this version, not realizing there were "adult" and "puppy" styles, but I'm so glad it happened. My dog typically likes playing fetch with balls, but when there's snow on the ground, he insists on playing with this! He doesn't really catch frisbees, but he retrieves it and loves whipping it around and kicking up the snow. I bought the adult version, which is less flimsy, and he won't play with it because it's not as fun to whip around as this one. He will also play tug with it a little when he brings it back and we haven't had any issues with it tearing or breaking down in any other way.
My dog has torn through almost every toy we have given her, including a king treat toy with peanut butter. This is one of the rare exceptions. She likes to chase and chew on it. It doesn't go super far, it is smaller, but perfect for our small/midsize rat terrier. Even playing tug of war, it has stood up against her super chewer power.
My Yorkipoo puppy loves this flyer. He was always stealing the full sized one from our older dog. This one is nice and soft for his teeth and a great size. I just wish I could have picked the color!
Not as sturdy as the red big one. Softer. It is a puppy one, but if my other dog gets it, she will tear it apart. Over a good Frisbee, good for a softer mouth catch
This item is sturdy and perfect for our Freyja! She loves to chase and retrieve and this toy can travel pretty far. Excellent purchase!
This is my 7 mos old Frenchie's new favorite. It is so fun to see her running through the yard with this frisbee flopping all around. Very easy for her to pick up, carry, and run around with. Not hard, so it does not hurt her, nor do I have to worry about her eating it. Durable and washable.
We got a bunch of Kong toys for our puppy. We actually hide treats under it for her to find as well. We love the idea that this product is made in the USA and will be supporting this company whenever we are looking for products for our puppy.
Our 6month old Border Collie is a fetch machine. Her first plastic standard frisbee didn’t last a month. This this is great. She hasn’t bitten any holes in it yet and she loves the rubbery floppy feel of it.
Poor quality. It tore and did not last two days. Not worth the money for this particular product.
My 12 wk old border collie just loves this toy! It bends and molds to her little paws and mouth... and it stands up to her razor sharp teeth!
