I have always gotten Kong toys for my dogs/puppies , I even still have many Kong toys for over 10 yrs , so we got a Standard Poodle puppy so I ordered a new puppy toy . I choose this teething stick because the puppy loves to hold things in her paws and it has a opening to place teething sticks in the middle . the puppy loves it . I do not let her alone with it which I am so happy I don't since she was chewing on it without a teething stick in it & I noticed tiny bits of pink around her mouth , well she has bitten/chewed off bits . So I threw it out ,I was upset since we always buy Kong toys , I will look for the wobble teething toy from kong & buy that because we still have one from when my other dog was a puppy , but he steals it from the new puppy , he will not share . So I feel this teething stick would be ok for smaller breeds but not large breed .
We had to order chew toys for the imminent arrival of our new puppy. This was the perfect size for sticking some of her food in or smearing with peanut butter. It kept her entertained for quite a while!
My Mom's new pup is teething line crazy and this toy really helps redirect him from chewing on furniture
Of all the Kong toys we’ve purchased for our aggressive chewers this is our least favorite. Too small and not easy to clean.
Don't know why I didn't listen to reviews. Thought my 10lb puppy was too small to affect a tough Kong toy! We found him eating pieces he chewed off! Makes me question Kong toys now!
Chip is a Mini Poodle. He chews a lot. Me included. I have paired this Kong toy with Vitakraft Treaties soft chew sticks. He gets 1/2 a chew stick about once every other day. I do NOT recommend using Peanut butter as instructed by KONG. it ruins carpet.
I’m surprised this is a kong brand toy. Not sturdy for teething at all. Dog had zero interest in it then one day she decided she liked it and was breaking pieces off in seconds. Do not recommend
Our pit mix pup started biting pieces off in minutes. This might be okay for very young pups who don't chew very furiously yet (I wouldn't be on it, though) but it's a waste of money for pups 6 months and older. It didn't even last an hour before I had to throw it out.
Our 10 week old lab loves this toy and it's great for her teething.
We got this for our 16 week old jack Russell and it's one of his favorite teething toys. It's a little messy if you use the aerosol can of Kong treat but puppy loves it without as well.
