Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

    Great toy!

    By on

Pulled this out of the box and my puppy LAUNCHED himself at it, he absolutely loves it. Protip: Spread some peanut butter or yogurt in there and then freeze it -- treats alone would probably fall out too quickly, the opening's pretty big. Not sure how well it would work for power chewers, but my adult dog has gotten a hold of it and didn't destroy it in 30 seconds, so that's a good sign compared to other toys! Definitely recommend.

    Great Puppy Toy

    By on

I bought this for my German Shepard/Black Lab mix puppy who destroyed other tires. She loves chewing on the tires, they would say they are "indestructible" but she always managed to destroy them in a matter of weeks. I bought this hoping it would last longer and it has. She has had it for a few months now and it is still in great condition.

    Kong Puppy Tire

    By on

Our puppies are enjoying this Kong Tire! I put a treat in it and let them dig it out, took them awhile but they did finally! It's a good sturdy toy and won't wear it for a long time. The only downside if there is one is they seem to lose interest in it a little more quickly.

    My pups love these

    By on

I have 2 large breed pups that are in the teething stage bad and purchased the small. Great size for them. I put 3/4 of a large milk bone biscuit in there for them and they work on getting it out for quite some time. When they get bigger I will get the larger ones.

Great, durable toy but small, the med/large is about the size of a bagel

    By on

Nice durable toy but small. I ordered medium/large and I thought I received the wrong size but it did say med/large on the package. I just thought it was bigger. My 60 pound staffy enjoys it. He throws it up in the air. Its very durable. I put treats inside & he loves it.

    Keeps our pup occupied

    By on

This kong is such a fun toy that keeps our puppy occupied and makes him work for the good treats inside! We'll stick frozen blueberries, treats, kibble, or peanut butter in there and he'll got nuts over it. Even after he's gotten all the good stuff out, he likes to just chew on it!

    Best treat toy

    By on

This is been the best treat toys so far. My Dane loves when I put her daily Dasuquin soft chews inside the tire. Keeps her busy and happy. When done, she will grab the tire and bring it to me basically asking for more. Peanut butter and crushed cookie mixed is also a great treat for this treat toy

The toy may be best for older puppies

    By on

My Miniature Schnauzer is 12 weeks old and has small teeth, so he finds it difficult to chew the Kong puppy tire. As he grows, I think he will be able to manage it better. Right now he prefers a flat, more chewable, 4-inch x 1-inch plastic bone.
