Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Each toy is great for light to moderate chewers and can be stuffed with your dog’s favorite treats or kibble to simulate natural foraging behaviors and extend treat time.

Dog ate with kong cheese filling. Licked the filling and easily tore it apart and swallowed. Caught it immediately and took her to emergency room where they gave her a shot and she threw up the pieces. After talking to people about it had a friend had the same thing but didn't catch as quickly and her dog didn't do as well. Kong does say on their packaging to supervise and take away if they chew apart. I received my kong from my daughter so didn't have the packaging.
This cleans easily but I wish the circle holes were all the same size as the smaller ones. It's hard to get treats that big to put in those big holes. The long opening is great for peanut butter, pumpkin, yogurt.
While I was hoping for the blue and green bones the pink and orange are just fine - lol. We fill them with a bit of dog food and yogurt and it keeps our pup busy and mind active. Well made and strong!
Received one of these from the shelter when I adopted my dog, who’s a 60lb mixed breed. She loves to chew but is a relatively gentle chewer for a dog her size and had one of the four end sections chewed off in about a week or two after not managing to get all the peanut butter out of it just by licking. It’s a good idea and a nice size but the rubber is pretty thin and not as durable as on other Kong toys.
My dog had this destroyed in 5 minutes. Not long quality; more like dollar store quality.
My dog recently had surgery and we were looking for a new toy to stimulate him and this bone did the trick! We put ice cubes and/or peanut butter in it and he's entertained for quite a while! Only downside is you can't pick the color so my bog dog ended up with a pink bone, but that's not stopping him!
I gave this toy to my Belgian Malinois and within an hour is was torn apart. He was eating the plastic.
I usually love Kong toys, however, my lab started to chew pieces off of this bone the very 1st day I got it and I had to throw it out.
My friend always tells me how great Kong is, so I decided to try some. The tire I got was great. This bone shape one, not so much. My big boy had one end chewed off within a couple of hours. I do not recommend this toy for bully bread dogs.
I’m not going to lie, my ACD, Lorenzo really really loved these bones. I bought at least 2 of them, and he used them about every other day for 4 months. I started to notice the inside where the holes are on the bottom of the toy, were deteriorating. It felt like soft rubber rather than the hard rubber of the entire toy, and pieces broke away easily when I was cleaning it or touching it to find out how much pressure it needed to continue breaking. It continued to deteriorate and I didn’t feel very comfortable giving them to my boy anymore, he already spent most of his puppy hood sick because of HOD, he doesn’t need to add blocked intestines to the list. I wish I had remembered I still could’ve returned them, but they were thrown in the trash since they were broken down to the point I couldn’t even donate them. I also bought him the wishbone shaped toy and had no problems, it was just these bones that started to deteriorate.
