For Refill Catnip: [Click here]
The squirrel is a very good and enjoyable size. I like shape & size of the squirrel very much even if there are no sewn eyes. The chamber inside does not necessarily fill the toy when catnip is put in. There will always be some empty room which I guess is OK because it might allow for the kitty to easily pick up & play with ... All in all I like it. I had a huge problem with the horrible fibers of the tail that could be pulled out & ingested as my kitty likes to pull out the fibers from the sisal rope scratch post & probably ingests them, but I write this off as natural "fiber". This tail is polyester & this is not what you want your kitty to ingest. I had to cut off as much of the fibers as I could. I will not be purchasing this again unless they make a tail of safe sisal rope or cloth--then I will purchase again.
Cats love this, going to have to buy a few more all 5 of my cats want it. Just wish there was a different type of closure for the catnip, the velcro closes but the cat nip gets in it and has to be picked out and you cannot put in and close without getting some on the velcro. Will be buying more the cats love so much.
My cat is a lover of toys and while he investigated this squirrel when I first brought it out, he showed no interest in it later. This is probably not the toy’s fault but I’ve seen similar reviews
My cats could not wait for me to put the catnip in. They loved it, but the tail is a major issue. Two of my cats were able to easily put it out. I had to cut it down
The tail material is easy to shred, I don't think it's safe but I trimmed it down with scissors as close as I could and it's o.k. now. In general catnip toys are good, for some reason my cats drool all over them so I have to wash them.
The boys love this toy you never know where you are going to find it. They fight over who gets to play with it even after you pull it out of the water dish squeeze it out and throw it back into play or pull it out of your shoe they are there to chase and bat it around.
I like these Kong refillable Catnip toys, especially for Senior cats that need something more enticing than younger more active cats. I bought one of the refillable Carrot toys in this series and was so pleased that I ordered this Squirrel. Highly recommended!
I barely got this critter out of the box before my cat pounced on it ! He's picky about toys, this one is great. Be ordering more
Demi an Bro both Luv this toy so much I had to buy a spare...They are always chaising and knocking it across the floor pounces on it..A total comedy show..
My old lazy cat loves this! I haven’t seen her move this much in years.
