Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Red is a chewer, so all furry toys get chewed up pretty fast but they keep her from chewing on things she shouldn't so I am all for them. This one has turned out to be one of her favorites, it actually also has a nice twist rope in it and it took her 2 days to get the rope out. Now she has a cruncy toy to chew plus she like to chew the rope. She says she likes this one a lot.
I have purchased a few (3-4) Kong rope toys and really love them as does Rosie. The Fox does not seem as nice and seems cheap compared to the bears I’ve purchased. Hopefully Rosie will enjoy it just the same.
My bulldog likes these kinds of toys he can still tear them apart but it takes him awhile and when he does theres no stuffing so there's not a huge mess
I bought this because I knew it had a rope center. But the stuffed animal piece around it is not as sturdy as other Kong toys I bought and my dog tore into it today and opened up the next so I had to sew it all back together. I only have a cavapoo so honestly it just didn't hold up as much as I expected it to.
We like this fox and the squirrel knot one too. Usually lasts a few weeks until my lab "dissects" it!
I wish they left the squeaker out of this toy. My one year old pointer found it after just 1 week. Even with the nose destroyed and the squeaker removed she found it to be fun, but rather than chance that she would ingest the fabric or thread that was used I had to throw it away. It didn't last as long as the squirrel version, but longer than the racoon!
All other toys get their stuffing removed. the rope inside is genius. Tough and durable for chewers
My granddogs give this one five stars! It is easy to wash occasionally too!
My lab had this torn apart in about 5 min. I ended up taking the rope and squeaky out of it.
My 2 small doxies had this thing ripped to shreds in no time.
