Visible and not bulky

These vests were great for our shepherds. They were not so bulky that they couldn’t play and we could see them easily. The only downfall in the design is the underbelly flaps didn’t lay flat. We readjusted the strap but the flaps kept partly coming out from under the strap. Other life jackets we’ve had have Velcro on the belly flap and straps to go over it. I plan on adding velcro on myself for our next water adventure. Other than that I really liked the quality of the jackets.

Not as described, but still recommend

The product itself seems like high quality. However, the product is described to fit a dog with a chest of 41" and it doesn't. My dogs chest is 40 inches and while the straps fully released do fit around his chest, the under flaps are not long enough and don't line up. Making them slip from under the straps and bunch up. It does seem like a great product for a smaller dog though and I would recommend it for dogs with smaller chests so thus the 3 stars.

Ready for a boat ride!

While we haven't tried this out in the water yet, the quality of the vest seems really great. Sizing always makes me nervous when buying these types of things, but turns out this one is very adjustable. My girl is on the small size for a lab, weighing in at about 60lbs. The large fits her great, and it is adjusted to be almost as small as it goes.

Dog Water Fun

Our six month old puppy loves water and by getting him the Kong Sport Aqua Pro Dog Flotation Vest he can safely play in the river. The vest is easy to put on and take off. It fits well, and the puppy can comfortably swim and play chase on the shore with his big brother without skipping a beat.

Sturdy, seems to work, belly flap doesn’t stay in place.

I’ve got a Belgian Shepherd and between swimming and shaking off the water on land, the belly flap hangs out between the straps. He’s 65 lbs. maybe a smaller dog would allow the flap to stay better tucked but doesn’t stay with mine.

GREAT VEST

Purchased a size small for my miniature dachshund and it fits great!! I added his measurements to the photo caption. The vest isn’t too bulky, so he’s able to walk and sit without interference. It also has a leash hook which makes a fantastic addition. Happy shopping! Hope this review helps :)

Perfect Fit

We bought this for our 14 year old Chocolate Lab who thinks she can still swim like she's two years old (spoiler alert- she can't). She is 63lbs and it fits her perfectly. I love that there is padding all the way around so the straps don't rub or dig into her skin. It does not restrict her movement at all and didn't bother her at all to wear it!

Sam is a first time swimmer so it was comforting to have a vest for him because believe it or not.....not ALL dogs get the hang of it their first time in the water! he didn't! lol

Our 60 lb Golden Lab Mix was right between the medium and large sizes. We got a medium and it was just a little too small. Chewy sent us a Large replacement in just a few days. Now Rhedds ready for the lake.
