Place dog's paw on a paper with their full weight on the paw.
Mark the end of the longest toe nails and down the back of the leg. Do not measure fur.
Measure the length and refer to the size chart.
Boots are to heavy and won't stay on. Maybe good for bigger dogs but not good for small ones. Back boots are the worst fit.
My Frenchie is 32 lbs with paw width ranging 1.9 - 2 inches and length 2.5 inches. I got both small (size 2) and medium (size 3) because according to the size chart she should fit the small; however, the reviews say the boots run small. In short, she does fit into small but the front paws that are slightly wider are a bit tight in the boots and the hind paws are a perfect fit! The only problem I have with the medium on the front paws is that it fits the paws perfectly, but because it's a little longer , my girl keeps tripping on them. I am hoping with more practice she will be fine but I am keeping both sizes. They are really cute and look like they will last. The sale price is great! Thank you Chewy!
I wasn’t sure what the doggie boots were going to be like. They’re awesome! I love the rubber soles. Unfortunately they didn’t fit my dog. I knew it was a long shot ordering a size medium but the size large was out of stock. I was hoping they’d fit.. but; they fit my sister’s dog and she loves them. With all the snow and ice that we got, her dog was glad to wear them. Hoping they’ll get the size large soon so I can purchase for my dog.
My dogs paws were measured at 2 1/5 inches, and the shoe paw print is 2.5 inches but the ankle opening was not wide enough to get the paw into the boot.
The apartment complex in which we find ourselves throws down massive amounts of ice melt. My little rat terrier gets it stuck in his paws and it hurts. He shouldn’t be out in the 9-17 degree weather without boots anyway. These fit and don’t fall off even when he steps in deeper snow. They’re kinda heavy and make a clacking noise lol. He got used to them pretty quickly.
I purchased both the large and medium for my 35lb. Border Collie. She is normally a solid medium size in everything, but from the reviews saying to size up I figured I would give it a try. They were just a tiny bit too big, so I think a bigger medium dog would definitely fit the large. The difference between the Medium and Large is really big, I feel like the sizes jumped too much, as you can see in the picture. Overall good quality, just wrong for my pup
I have a 65# Australian Shepherd……our Vet recommended these to protect our dogs feet. The size large fits awesome! No problem with these boots at all. I will be glad when Chewy gets more, I want to buy another pair.
Ordered these as my previous ones that work great aren't sold anymore but matched the sizes and these are wayy too small for my aussie.
Disappointed. They seem really nice but couldn't even get them on my puppy's feet. Would definitely recommend buying a size up.
sizing is not accurate. ordered the booties in medium, and they are way too small. will be returning
