We love these squeaky balls so much! We play fetch with them on our hikes, I throw one down into a valley and she leaps down after it. She finds it among the leaves and comes flying back up to me, beeping her ball victoriously. I can’t hold one in my hand for too long until I start getting barked at to throw it, such is the obsession. The only real problem is that she’ll take it with her while she explores on her own, and sometimes comes back empty-mouthed. I can only assume she has cached a mountain of these things somewhere in the dark recesses of the forest where no man dares to tread.
The ball is not as hardy as the Chuck it rubber balls but the squeaker inside makes it a more exciting toy for our puppy. If you have a dog that likes to take apart toys that have a squeaker inside be careful to watch that they do not ingest the pieces. Another downside is that it is actually hard to play fetch with our pup using these balls as opposed to the Chuck it ones since he usually likes to hold onto these squeaker tennis balls and play with them on his own instead.
Had a few inexpensive squeaky balls, but needed some new ones. We bought Kong thinking they might last longer, disappointing result. The covering on one, peeled off easily. The second one squeaked for maybe 2 min. of play. Hopefully the remaining balls will hold up better.
These last a long while before they stop squeaking, then she just chews off the yellow covering. We chuck these across the living room so they bounce off the back of the couch and she can catch them in the air. Then she rushes to my bed and chomps on it. I have to get a second ball to chuck it again, otherwise she thinks I'm stealing her toy. Best squeaky ball I've found.
Chewy is my go to shopping for dog items. We just received two beautiful sweaters for my large dogs. You can't buy 3xlarge sweaters at most sites! Another reason I like Chewy so much is the home delivery for dog food. Seventy pound dogs eat quite alot! I can pick the frequency of the delivery date and my credit card is billed at shippping.
My pup loves these squeaky tennis balls! He could use care less about any other toy when these are around. Chases it around the house constantly, but too easy to put a hole in it with just a bite down on or near the “seam.” Went too quick through the package.
Disappointed the medium balls were smaller than I thought they should be and I ordered three to get one free. Many balls have been bought over the years because Sahara does not quit til the squeak is gone. Next time I will order large.
I love Kong products and I love them more on sale. But you can buy Kong anywhere. Chewy runs a tight ship with competitive prices, an easy to navigate website and fast delivery.
My pup likes these a lot. So far they have held up after a week of use. They are on the smaller side so I highly recommend them for smaller dogs.
Okay, so my dog absolutely loves these tennis balls. That's why they get five starts. Be warned, they're super squeaky - the loudest squeaky toy ever. For that reason, they are strictly outside toys at our house. They don't hold up super great, but they're relatively cheap and the pup loves 'em.
