Squeaks everywhere
I have 6 dogs and we've bought almost 10 over the years. Some are unbreakable! Only 1 has tore up in a very short time. 2 have been run over by vehicles, because someone forgot to take their toy inside, and those 2 lasted from there on out! The others are no where to be seen; so possibly buried or under furniture. Initially getting the brand new toy there is nothing but squeaking in our house and it's almost enough to drive you nuts. The normal time for our squeakers to go out is about a week but the ball is still intact, and the pups love to still play with it. All in all with our pups (1 corgi, 3 corgi mixes, 1 shepard mix, and 1 golden doodle mix) these balls are their favorite things ever and they do hold up very well just minus the squeaker which is actually a win in my book.
My dog loves these
I have a 90lb, muscular pitbull and he loves to play with toys! He loves these balls; likes to chase them because of the erratic bounces and loves to make them squeak. He has had some for a year and a half and never destroyed any. I've had to hide several bc when he wakes up in the middle of the night and gets bored he'll start playing and squeaking the balls. I think he has about 5. He's a strong chewer but I definitely recommend.
Good toy with supervision
These are really good toys but not for an aggressive player/chewer. I bought the double pack thank goodness. After about 2 weeks of playing, my 110# Rotti finally got the ball into 2 pieces. I still really like the toy so I'll continue to buy them when they wear out.
Not for hard chewers
You know your dog. If he or she is a hard chewer, this may not be the toy for him. My male has this apart in a matter of hours. My female is a medium chewer, kind of like the kid who likes all day candy. This will last her weeks. Oddly enough, my tough chewer has no canines. The result of chewing on rocks and logs and wood has worn them down to nubs. Yet he can destroy most toys in a short while. Believe me, even with no canines, he can still chomp down enough to hurt. I will continue to buy this because it makes her happy and I will always watch him to make sure he doesn't swallow anything. 0
Ok for rubber
I bought this in hopes it would last a while. I always check to see the chewing grade like begging,light,tough,and so on. I have a Rottweiler so it is important to make sure chew strength is high. Chewy has yet to have one she can not destroy in A couple days. I may have to go to Bully Box
Short-lived with a heavy chewer
I thought maybe this would stand a chance since the squeaker was internally protected. My dog had the GREATEST 30 minutes of play before she broke it. However, she is a strong and heavy chewer. We've since removed the core of the ball since it was quickly being ripped apart, and she's been able to chew and chase the remanants.
My puppy loves this
This ball was the best purchase! My 14 week old puppy has played with this since we got her, it's one of her favorite toys. It bounces in unexpected ways due to its texture, and I think that's one reason she likes it. It also squeaks. She's 8 pounds and will only grow to about 15 pounds, and the medium sized ball is perfect for her.
I purchased the 1st set January 21st 2023 BUT................
I was so impress with this toy for my dogs due to the fact they lasted almost 7 months. Winston my boxer is an aggressive chewer and Pippin just carried hers. I purchased 2 sets and they were delivered July 5th and BOTH squeakers are not working AND they seem to be peeling and little cracks already..very disappointed. I love Kong products. Maybe a bad batch of something, however they make them
Medium is actually small
Be careful when purchasing. I have ordered several of these in the past and they were a big hit. I mistakenly ordered Medium thinking they were the Chuck it balls. Make sure you order size large for medium to large dogs. Medium is too small. Now I’m stuck with 4 new balls that are too small.
Most Durable I Have Found
Little dog loves fetching with a squeaky ball, but big dog likes to ‘kill’ whatever it is that’s squeaking. With the squeaky bit being in the center of the ball, both dogs enjoy the toy for a good long while, as the squeaker is so well protected. The slightly wonky bounce is a great feature too, as it attention to the ball in order to capture it. So far the squeak has held up for a couple of weeks, and is still going strong. I’m very happy, as most others are shot in a day or less.
