We normally purchase Kong produces due to their durability and reliability. This ball did not squeak as indicated and broke at the seams in less than a week. The Kong squeaky toy which was purchased at the same time and made of the same construction as this ball is still in use and shows not sign of breaking at the seam. The dog is a 4 year old, 30 lb beagle. No need to add a photo since pictures are readily available.
My dog loves this ball and he’s not an aggressive player, he’s never broken a ball, maybe warn them out (over the span of 2 years) but this ball broke in half after only 6 weeks and the inside (to the make the crackle noises) is filled with a stiff plastic that he immediately got to once it broke and I had to RUSH to get the plastic pieces from him. It could be really dangerous if not monitored while being played with. I wish I could recommend it, but it broke so quickly especially for a “kong” brand ball and then it’s just potentially dangerous being filled with many small pieces of plastic.
This is a great alternative for my pup who loves noisy chew toys, but is less horrible than other options because the sound is not piercing. Actually, my pup prefers crackling toys to squeaky toys. I think she likes the feel of chewing/crunching on the crackling stuff inside the toy. And it's also a ball!
well, maybe I ordered this one by mistake. Thought I am getting 3 Squeeze balls, and then one of them was a crinkle ball. LouLou likes it but nothing compares with the squeaky sound of the Squeeze ball. Also this ball does not have holes, where you can smear in a bit of cheese for extra motivation..so will not get this one again (if Chewy gives me the option)
Bought these for my dogs because one had a smaller mouth. The two large dogs bit down hard on them and the squeakers stopped working after one day. The smaller dog loves squeak toys so now she won’t play with the balls
It's a gamble with my dog in regards to what toy he will chew up quickly and what toy will last at least a week. This toy is perfect for my 11 pound dog: -My dog has not even put a scratch in it, which is saying A LOT -It's small enough for him to fit in his mouth, but large enough not to be a choking hazard. -Unlike tennis balls it does not have fuzz that my dog rips off and eats -It is easy to clean and easy to spot in the grass -It is super bouncy, so my dog often plays with it on his own -It is small and easy to fit in my bag to take with me when I go places with my dog
This did not last more than 2 hours with my 5 year old German Shepherd. She loved it, but after she chewed on it and it split at the seam, it was no longer safe for her to play with. I have always had confidence in Kong products, but the last few balls, our girl played with did not go the distance.
Our miniature Schnauzer loves this ball. Perfect size for fetch and has just enough variation on the surface to provide fun when bounced! Kong always seems to deliver quality toys.
My dog LOVES chewing on balls. However, he has the jaw strength that would put most lions to shame. It's been 2 weeks and this ball is still alive. It's amazing. Most indestructible balls he hates because they have no give so he can't actually chew on them, but this one does. He will literally chew on this thing for 20 minutes each session and it's still alive. Worth every penny.
These balls so far [3 weeks] are indestructible. Zapa gets one of these when outside only cause we all know balls in-house are not a good idea. She loves and carries with her all the time. She is a recent rescue and still is anxious to meet new people when they pull into the driveway. Having THIS ball in her mouth calms the ''meet and greet''.
