Best for Power Chewers
It is a fan favorite for my two power chewing pitbulls, they pick out this toy and play with it more than any of their others and it has been our longest lasting toy. I'm honestly surprised it's lasted more than 4 months and they love it. Can't wait to try other KONG products
A Fan Favorite That Lasts
This is the second of these I have bought. This one is for my grand dog and like my pups, she thinks this toy is the bomb. She is a crazy 50 lb Border Collie mix who, when she cannot find someone to throw it for her, loves to run and throw this toy into the air (while giving it a good squeak). I have a 75 lb Springer Spaniel mix that loves to play fetch and this toy takes it to the next level. Sometimes he wants the long ball, but sometimes he wants a challenge and the eccentric bounces and rolls you get with this make it fun not just for him, but for us as well. My "fetching is boring" 45 lb Springer, likes to toss and pounce or even better, engage in a spirited tug game with her 75 lb "brother". They drag and pull each other and the toy just keeps on keeping on. The color has faded a bit over many months, but despite the rough, abusive play, there is not a mark on it. I highly recommend this (or the smaller one -- we have both and the smaller one has held up just as well).
This is not the first kong toy we have bought. Our 1 year old boy is very happy with this toy. The shape is great for him to carry and chase. this is not as thick as the regular kong but so far is lasting well. He carries it around and it has been added to his other toys so it gives him different ones to play with.
not for heavy chewer
just got a new dog and trying out different toys, this is a good toy but not for my dog, he had it chewed up in less the 30 min, it no longer squeaked, i would say good for easy chewer not hard ones
Didn’t even last 10 minutes
We bought this for our 9 month lab/terrier (?) rescue. She had the squeaker out and we had to take the Kong from her in under 10 minutes of play! Definitely disappointed in this as this is the first Kong we’ve tried and I thought Kongs were the toughest out there??
Great toy for small dogs!
This is a great toy for small dogs. My Mom's Yorkie typically destroys anything with a squeaky in it - but not this one. She loves this toy and plays with it all the time. Highly recommended!
Our Bulldog’s Favorite Toy
We had to replace the old one after four years because it’s our American Bulldog’s absolute favorite toy! He loves the squeaking noise so much and plays with this almost exclusively. Definitely recommend for heavy chewers!
Didn't last long
Roscoe loved it, but he also started to destroy it within about an hour. We had high hopes for it as it seemed quite strong. Unfortunately, Roscoe has a iron jaw.
We love it!
My 2 yo lab/heeler mix is a heavy chewer, and this has managed to stay in tact! It’s a fun fetch toy!
I remain impressed with the Kong Squeezz line
My 85-lb pit mastiff mix has jaws of steel and destroys every toy he gets. His favorite pastime is squeaker removal. Maybe it’s more of a life goal…anyway, since I rescued him a year and a half ago the only product that has withstood his shredding, destuffing, and desqueakering has been these toys. I started with the large/XL balls. While he’s been able to disable the squeaker somehow, he has never penetrated or torn/shredded the plastic. That is simply amazing to me. I recently bought this double sided dumbbell and I wish I could upload a video instead of a photo. He is chewing this thing so hard and it remains intact. I can highly recommend this for the most extreme chewers. He has been at this all morning (finally tuckered himself out chewing!) and it’s in pristine condition.
